New and looking for advice

Recommended Posts

Hi, the names Marissa. I'm 19, I have three tattoos, and I live in a small town in Ohio. Basically I started an account here because my boyfriend got a hideous tattoo a few months back and is just now realizing how awful it is... We really need some advice on if this can be fixed or covered up. It really is bad. Anyways any feedback at all will be greatly appreciated.

LOL . i'm quite amused at how perceptive you are to how terrible that tattoo is. :) but it looks like it'll be pretty easy to cover up, though i'm no expert. ure def in the right place to get some cool ideas and direction. welcome!

Welcome to LST,I'm not a tattooer but that tattoo looks pretty well faded to the point that someone could blast something over the top. here are a few shops in ohio that I could find that all do good stuff.

I just absolutely hate the tattoo. I bought it for him for Christmas. But that's not what he was supposed to get and its definitely not what I paid for. Also I'm in Ohio but I'm 45 minutes from both wheeling West Virginia and Pittsburgh PA. Thank you for all the replies though. I wasn't expecting all the attention.

Debbie Lenz is in Youngstown........Clifton Boggs is in Canton.......whole bunch of great tattoo artists in Columbus....Jason Lambert in Pittsburgh....

What exactly was he looking to get to cover it?

A lot of great suggestions of other tattoo artists have been made as well!

    • yep. 4-6 weeks before you really know what you've got.  post a link to the person who you're looking at for re-working it.
    • I'd wait until it's healed so you actually know what it's going to look like before I start looking at having it "fixed." How exactly is the other artist going to "fix" it? I've seen more tattoos that look worse after they are fixed than better.
    • Hello everyone. So I got this rose tattoo two weeks ago. Still healing and I know I want to get it “fixed”. My issue with it is that while it looks like a rose you have to look hard to see it’s a rose. I have an appt. scheduled for April to have it worked on by a different artist (he did a pocket watch on my ribs last year that came out great). In meeting with him he said it lacks symmetry (which it does) among some other things, but he feels he can work on this. Looking for any advice. Is this fixable or is it a lost cause? If it’s not fixable then it is what it is, but Tully hoping for some input. Needless to say, I’ve been so bummed since I got because it didn’t come out how I would’ve liked. Thank you.
