the_owwwl
I just got this tattoo a day ago and I noticed some lines getting blurry and I'm not sure if this could be a blowout. This is my first tattoo. It's probably too early to know but it's stressing me out and I would like thoughts on this. Any idea?
ughanxiousppl
Did you look around the forum at other threads relating to this topic before posting? It’s far too early to know. Let it heal. No sense in stressing about something you can’t do anything about. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
gtrjunior
That’s normal. A week ago I started a new tattoo. For the next 2 days the ink seeped out through the open wound. The lines became undefined and looked much wider than they originally did. You need to let the wound scab up and then let the scab naturally come off. That’s going to take 2-3 weeks at a minimum. the_owwwl
SStu
4-6 weeks to tell what you've got. Hogrider
Hogrider
Ideas? Quit stressing. There is NOTHING you can do about a blowout. Enjoy your tattoo. That is fine line work on thin skin, the most likely scenario for a blowout. oboogie
Dan
looks fine to me,in 6 weeks when it heals more it should look great.
the_owwwl
Update: It's starting to scab and the lines seem to be getting thicker. It looks like the ink is spreading under the skin, is this part of the healing process? (Sorry for the inconvenience) If it is a blowout I know I can't do anything about it, all I can do is touch it up after its healed. I really love it as it is but I can't help but notice the cloudiness of the tattoo. Thank you.
gtrjunior
Ask again after 6 weeks have passed. You’re way overthinking this. oboogie
oboogie
You cannot tell yet.. Wait. And touchups aren't going to fix a blowout. You just have to live with it. Just let it heal and stop obsessing.
