  1. Damn, that's on you? Lucky guy! I saw that on his Instagram.

Two questions: how long did that take, and who did your right arm?

That outline took almost 5 hours. He had to reverse the stencil to cover some stuff on my back. I sent him a photo but I took the pic in a mirror so my pic showed everything backwards. Stewart work fairly quickly and no breaks.

On my right arm is a koy and dragon and that was by Clark North. He's in Las Vegas. Great guy and he does fantastic stuff as well. His website is http://www.clarknorthart.com/index.html

  2. My longest absence was also 20 years and like you I've gone crazy. I've always said "if you want to be a bear... Be a Grizzly!!". I've completed a full sleeve on my right arm and that includes the chest plate. My left arm is almost halfway cover with an upper and forearm piece.

Tomorrow I start my back and that will be a full Backpiece and will end below my waist. I look at tattooers websites all the time. Luckily, I've been traveling for most of the work so there is a waiting period. Otherwise I would most likely be all covered.

  3. Share what you ate. Pictures, verbal descriptions, poems about your food, haiku's, monologues... whatever it takes.

Im working so make me jealous.

Happy Thanksgiving, to all! I brought my family to London and we are heading to a place that does Thanksgiving for expats! They do it all except apple pie.....! Hope everyone enjoys their day!!!!!

  5. I would trade with any skilled craftsman or equally trained service person. I resent the expectation that I (a journeyman tattooer) would trade for services performed by an apprentice or someone still unskilled or untrained .

That makes total sense. I missed the part where you wrote she was training. True "trade" is Journeyman to Journeyman.

  6. Next time I'll say " sure, my son is just starting, and he could use the practice!"

I have friends in the business of cosmetology and they trade services as opposed to paying each other. These would be deemed equal. If this person had a service that you valued would you do the sleeve in trade?

  7. WTF is an MW3?

MW3 is Modern Warfare the video game. For those gamers out there it's well worth the price of the game.... With the diverse interest that people have on LST I figured someone else likes to game as I do.....

  8. I haven't had any work done since September. My next appoint is November 25th. The time in between has been dragging alone very slowly. But I don't want to get a piece just for a quick "fix". I only have so much skin to cover and I am considering this journey more of a marathon then a sprint. I spend my time on LST and every artist's blog looking at other people's tattoos and pass the the time until I get my next one.

  9. Today I held interviews for a position that I am hiring for. One of the interviewees wore Capri pants, Flip Flops and ridiculous looking shirt. She was a mess and although she could articulate how she would be a valuable employee. Unfortunately, I couldn't get over her attire and that is my reason for not considering her for the position. What's funny is that everyone else who saw her, judged her based on a piercing over her lip and the tattoos on her feet. Those things didn't bother me in the least. What I didn't like is she didn't dress appropriatly for a job interview.
