Lately I've been really admiring nice script.
Dan Sinnes' work is probably my favourite.
I also really like looking at Norm's work but if I'm honest I struggle with some of the less readable stuff he does - it's cool, just not for me.

The Crumbsuckers were great back in the day. I never saw Burn, but also never really got into them. They emerged around the time I started my hiatus from the hardcore scene.

Well, I think a good majority here are aware of these people. I love Aaron Cain, Pacheco and James Tex. Certainly not oblivious to it. I'm also certain that I don't have a tattoo machine tattooed on my hand, but I can recognize most on site. There isn't a Captain Big Nuts card to attain around here. I certainly am not interested in making anyone stay if they feel like they don't belong. Just know your audience. Period.

Was wandering around Bath today and got a walk in with Jimmie Tatts, filled in an awkward gap on the inside of my elbow.
The shop is a 20 minute drive from my house but i've never been there before today. Makes a change from all the travelling i've been doing for tattoos!

Lots of mention of Filip Leu, Aaron Cain and others on here. There's even a guy with a Leu back piece hanging around.
I don't really get why you'd come into this particular thread, which is clearly about traditional tattooing, and start ranting about people (supposedly) not recognising true greats of tattooing...
If you think someone needs some love then why not be constructive and start a thread?

Kind of tough to make out what goes where from this picture. It's the ball and chain. To give you reference, the girl head is above my elbow ditch.

This is a cool thread. Lots of really good tattoos. My contribution is as follows... Cross with Koru designs by Tommy Downs at Roger's Tattoo Art in Wellington, NZ. That is surrounded by a half sleeve by Gerry Carnelly at Octopus Tattoo, Derby, UK. The second piece then is a dotwork Aum gap filler by Patrick Huttlinger going in the little gap left by a half sleeve by Ian Flower at New Skool Tattoos in Ewell village, Surrey, UK.
I really like that the combination balances the two arms. When I had the gaps it felt totally unbalanced. I agree with the earlier comment though about not having to tattoo that part of my body again. The cross was my first ever tattoo and not the most pleasant introduction to say the least...

@Alexandr Melnik Hey man, so not to be rude but this thread is meant to showcase member artwork, not pictures of tattoos. There are plenty of other threads those tattoos would be suited to. Nothing against the pictures, just that they are probably better off elsewhere. Cheers

    Hey Guys,
Some of the most vivid memories of my child hood are my dad's tattoo from the 70s - a rainbow with an ohm over it, and him blasting Guns N' Roses. I've always been drawn to tattoos. I thought the inked girls were the hottest and the guys with tattoos were the coolest but I never got one. It was just something I enjoyed looking at until last month. I finally took the plunge and got something I've wanted for years at Three Kings in Brooklyn. Tattoo Imgur
Since getting my first tattoo, my life has changed. After walking out of the shop I already wanted another. I'm trying my best not to rush it, and I have so many questions re style, mixing styles, color vs. bng, different artists and more. That's why I'm here. Tattoos have taken over my instagram and my recreational thoughts.
Happy to be here and excited about learning more about the art, tradition and finding my next pieces.

I'll also point out that legs, at least for me, heal slower than my arms becuase they have worse circulation. It took about three weeks for mine to go through the peel-flake cycle, compared to a few days to a week for my arm. I extended my aftercare expectations, let it dry heal with twice daily washings for most of the first week, very light a&d at the end of that week, and lotion around the middle of the second week on. Just what's worked for me personally.

Yep, tattoos heal in all sorts of crazy ways. Some will look like the color fell out, some will peel, some will change color. All of this while healing. Once done, though, they go to looking the way you expect they will.
So be patient - it's only 2 days old - it's gonna do a lot more stuff. Give it 2-4 weeks at least.

I can only speak for myself but I think you'll find the overwhelming majority would agree that if there is such a thing as intruding into our industry (and there is), collecting the tools of our trade is the definition of it.
