sure, everyone should bear the consequences for the choices they make. and I understand that some people enjoy pain, or the journey, or whatever, but for me when you start putting ink in your eyes, horns in your head, nose chopped off, holes in your face or just crazy black lines everywhere then you have gone to something else entirely

If they like it, who cares? Doesn't affect you. *shrug*

update: braved up and went to my second appointment with a new artist and i am so happy that i did. there is some veeery minor blowout but overall the tattoo is just perfect. as for my first tattoo, the blowout is official and probably here to stay. there is a blue tint atound much of it and one part looks like i have been beaten up just recently... not nice... will definitely have to head back to cover it with more design. how long do you think i should wait before doing that?

You'll probably just have more blowouts. They aren't something you can control, really. It just happens sometimes.

Thanks Hogrider, and I hear what you're saying. It's going to take a bit of work all right. What do you mean by later removal?

I was hoping there were some qualified tattoo artists on here though that might be able to offer some insight into what I could do. Problem is, I live in Dubai, where you can't just find a tattoo parlour on the street, so I'm hoping for some info online.

    Cheers,

We are mostly collectors, not artists. I tend to agree with Hogrider. Start with some laser.

Update: I am scheduled for an all day appt tomorrow, and the guy doesn't even have a design done yet. So I am contacting the owner today, and going to ask him for a cash refund on the $300 something dollars, or if he wants to take over the project. I am done with the original artist.

Never had a stencil ready a day or two in advance. I see it when I arrive. That's totally normal.

When I got my calf tattoos my lower legs--especially my ankles and feet--got swollen. It's just how the body works and isn't uncommon. That's what it looks like is happening with your arm. But we're not doctors. If you're worried always go to the doctor.

    Same.
