Why am i beating myself up, i dont get it. ?
What do you mean? You don't understand that expression? It just means you should quit worrying about your decisions re: the tattoo. That's all.

It's not bad at all. Quit beating yourself up about it. You'll get used to it. It won't go away completely with lasering, so unless you want to cover it up with something else, just leave it and get more tattoos.

Didn't you post this exact topic on another part of the forum?

What @Hogrider said. Please just stop overthinking it. Just let it go.

After a horrendous weekend of trying to help my Mom manage her panic as she struggled to get oxygen, I was with her as she peacefully left this earth on Tuesday. She chose the 20th anniversary of my Dad's death to join him. Still numb, still haven't let the emotions out. Focused on the few administrative details left to do.
Here's my gift to you from her. Don't smoke!!! She did for 60 years until a stroke forced her to stop. In the end, it wasn't even the breast and lung cancers that took her - it was the COPD that destroyed her lungs. Don't put your family through what I faced this past weekend as she stared at me, eyes pleading for me to help her get oxygen...wracking me with guild that I couldn't do anything but hold her as the morphine and anti-anxiety meds put her to sleep.
F***.
I'm so very sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts.

Yeah, if you poked a hole in it, you need to remove it.

Those times are pretty average. I think the difference is yours is REALLY SLOW. Again, think about a different artist perhaps?

cool tattoo,
but holy crap ! that artist works pretty slow ! that took him 18+ hrs so far ?
what is he going to do in 2 more sessions ?
Wondering the same. I've had a whole very detailed and elaborate half sleeve done in two three-hour sessions. Maybe try a different artist if you end up getting more tattoos?

What an a**hole! Sorry you had that happen to you. I just wish they would have refused service for him. At least, I hope they made it painful.
Great tattoo - especially as I sit here drinking coffee.

that sucks that happened to you.
cool tattoo :)
Thanks, guys. My artist wouldn't have tattooed him. He planned to tell him to eff off. Sadly, the other guys didn't see it happen, but I promise you they heard about it later. The place was so packed—it was all a bit chaotic. I'm just glad my artist stood up for me. He's a great guy. I love him.
I like your filler, Dan!

I got this little tiny one for Friday the 13th. I was there early (first) because I had the day off, and it is my regular shop. I was texting with my artist the whole time before they opened and waited at the door. There was a short line, but I was there first, so it was all good. This big fat guy (who appeared to have zero tattoos, which is fine, of course, but kinda cheap to only get $20 tattoos) was at the front of the line, and he seemed to be eyeballing me. When the door was unlocked at noon, he PUSHED ME OUT OF THE WAY and blocked my entrance. My friend/artist saw him do it, and he just about lost his shit. All the guys in the shop know me and said, "We got you, Jen, you're first. Just go on back." So I sit down while everyone else is still signing in, and he starts tattooing me with the little cup o' coffee. My artist has steam coming out of his ears. He's furious because this guy shoved me. He yells over to the fat guy (who is now starting to get a tattoo), and says, "Hey, is he getting the cock? HE SHOULD. F***ing ASSHOLE." I had to convince him NOT to punch the guy. Meanwhile, big fat guy is scared shitless and never made eye contact with me again.
Long story short, my friend is F***ing awesome, and he always has my back. And I like my little cup o' Joe. The end.

I'm curious to know what your tattoo means to you. ?
Also, and I am saying this lightheartedly but with all seriousness, anyone that close to you is going to be looking at your boobs. :)
Annnnnnd this is why I love you.

Yeah, you were definitely touching it to much/over-moisturizing. I'd almost suggest trying a dry heal at this point. It'll be alright. Just hang in there.

I'd ask the artist you are going to use for ideas. My artist always has great ideas about what to add where.

I'm probably biased since 99% of my tattoos are by him, but Joshua Henderson at Brainstorm is amazing. Love the guy and his work.

I've been in excruciating pain when getting my inside biceps done, and you really just have to grit your teeth and get on with it.
New tattoo advice...
