In like 2016 a film student made a video of an old session of mine getting waves and leaves added to my turtle by Takashi Matsuba in his old studio. Thought I'd post some stills from the video here. The video's locked, but it's cool.

If you hadn't said anything, I don't think I'd have seen a swastika and still don't actually. The bottom right and bottom left of the 4 are clearly cut off. In my opinion, there isn't any room for interpretation. So I wouldn't worry about it.
The thing is it's very easy for us to nitpick our tattoos and find all the flaws in them. Tattoo regret is common and you can get through this. As Hogrider said, give yourself some time before doing anything. But seriously, I think you're fine.

Do a search. It’s very common to initially regret a new tattoo. Do you know what a swastika looks like? I’ve never seen one that looked like that. 
 
Don’t do anything without giving it a few months. I’ve seen a lot of disasters caused by people rushing out to “fix” something. It a nice tattoo, enjoy it.

I guess I'm not really a newbie anymore, but it's still fun to read & share here:

I went in for #2 this week:  This one's a throwback to a conversation my best friend and I had in the late 80's/early 90's:  "One day when we're 18, you should get a tattoo of Hobbes, and I'll get Calvin".  I guess I decided it was finally time.  🙂

In these times (and I don't mean Covid related times) it's pretty common to have to wait and patiently pursue the artist of your dreams - assuming you're stuck on just one artist. I actually waited almost 2 years to get to sit down in front of a particularly busy guy. Throwing down extra cash might work with some and piss off others. Working with personalities is always a gamble . . . 
What style of tattoo are you desiring? $1000 will buy you traveling options . . .

I guess someone had to make up “news” to meet a deadline.

Hey everyone!  I have literally been kicking around tattoo ideas for over 20 years and decided in the past couple of months that it’s time to get it done.  I think the trigger was just realizing there really are timeless designs that I will still like in 5,10+ years. After visiting one well regarded shop, I felt rushed/uninformed and have a lot of thoughts/questions that I’m hoping you all may be able to help with.  Already looking forward to the insight and experience!
 
 

Agreed with scotty. Currently NYC is doing a decent job at keeping the cases down. It's more the airport/airplane that is the cause of concern as airlines aren't doing a great job at enforcing masks/people aren't covering up. Looking forward to the finished products though!

I'm not going to be doing any flying anytime in the near future, and that's a shame.
