Beppe's style is basically American Traditional - which would be perfect for your subject matter.
What style do you prefer?

If you absolutely can't travel further then Mario at Cimmeria seems to be the strongest (when he's using black outlining) of that group, but I would consider saving up some traveling cash and heading elsewhere.
How big and where?

Just in case you don't know - very few reputable artists are going to reproduce a previously issued piece. Tweeks could easily be mandatory.

1974, just days after I turned 18. Skinny, long-haired rock-n-roller.
In some name-unknown parlor on Chippewa Street in Buffalo, NY (which at the time was skid row = Junkies, Prostitutes, rank bars and tattoo parlors). Flash from the wall.
As with the times, I don't remember much if any of the experience.
Here's what's left of it:

@guitguy - excellent encounter. Definitely jealous.
We saw Johnny about 5-6 years ago at a show in his hometown of Beaumont. He was so frail at the time the crew had to carry him out to center stage on a chair and then bring him his guitar. After the fabulous show they picked his chair back up and carried him away. Actually made me cry. It's amazing he's stayed alive so long.

I'd be asking a certified, Japanese traditionalist to offer his/her opinion on the whole thing being re-worked. Definitely at least needs outlining, but the Koi is looking washed out, too.

Really like this back piece from Matt Mooney. The skull is very Grime I think but he definitely has his own thing going on which is dope.
Thanks for that. Now following him, too.

get it re-worked, if it makes you feel better. Polish your good luck.

That kind of depends on what your artist knows about the car and how he/she wants to frame it up, I'd think.
I used to have a '66 Catalina. Great car, but I lost most of the pictures of it during Katrina.

Speaking of Born Weird, I tried to go to @sboyer 's website and it seems to be down, anybody know if they Yellow Beak Press is still running?
Just had the same problem myself. I left them a message on their facebook page about their web page being down . . .

Great! We'll be expecting pictures.

Welcome.
Got some pictures of your work?

Okay @SStu I bet you wouldn't get something from that Born Weird book. I DARE you to.
Perfect excuse to buy that book, thanks. :)

You may have some bruising, too. Obviously, that'll go away. Patience, Grasshopper.

You're not offending anyone here. It is excellent that you've come to a place like this to learn how to not make a mistake in obtaining the artwork you want.
Now, in order to clarify; "black and grey" is generally spoken of as "realism" - mostly like non-color photographs. There is also "blackwork" which is mostly just black (and a wide range of sub-styles therein).
Slow down. Stick around and read posts for a couple of months. Drink in the pictures and the discussion on the board. Educate yourself to the process, the styles and the artwork. Wait and see what resonates with you. The journey is fun.
