The first one of these traditional dog portraits I saw was done by Chris Conn on my boss back in mid 90's. I started seeing more of them in the last year and I agree I think they are way cool and perfect for something like a picture of your dog. You can have a little more fun with them as well, capture some of their personality.

I think that part if the trick is thinking in advance that it's going to be horrible. Then the reality is that it just sucks without being unbearable.

Give skintastic a call ask to make an appointment with Khan he will give you a great portrait, The shop is in Queensland but would be worth the trip. Khan is moving to Queensland early next year.

Had some colour put in on both sides of my chest yesterday and to be honest I was not looking forward to it at all, lucky for me the pain was no where near as bad as I was expecting, still hurt like a f....r though.

Another piece by @Nick Colella of CTC, one-day notice to get it. Far as he can figure, Tom Berg did the flash in the thirties, and it's been on the wall fo the shop for some decades...
First step in filling in the rest of my left arm, and it should work. I have some very old western-style stuff like a panthers head on that arm, as well as some fairly old (1982-1984) Jap style work, so we have to kinda get a blending going on. Thought this piece did that well. There will be one more fairly major piece, and then fill.
Pix aren't the best, but you get the idea....I know this isn't the most rad and popluar styling, but hey, old flash for an old guy!

Thanks! Ribs are pretty dang fun. Actually, last night went pretty well, I sat for just over 2 hours.
This pic sucks, but it gives an idea of how it ties into arm and how big the tattoo is.

One of the best back pieces hands down, well thats my opinion. Makes we want to get tattooed by Tim Hendricks thats for sure, To bad I live on the other side of the world I would love to get a battle royal back piece from him.

Not much better than getting tattooed whilst checking out various tattooers flash sheets on the walls.
Been thinking of getting a version of this shaun topper snake v tiger flash with the flash in the back ground as a back piece, I have stared at this for hours during my past tattoo sessions.
