Hate to break it to you, but that sounds like nothing more than a way for someone to get your money with no guarantees for your future. Spend your money on getting tattooed.

@heathenist I think "a trippy Jesus head" sounds pretty good as a request. Way better than "I want something to represent my family, my place in the world and how I developed as a person. Please also include a shark"

Ah damn! I arrive to London on the Friday but get tattooed Saturday 5pm and Sunday after lunch. Would have been fun to meet up, but I won't go there on Friday.
Monday evening I get tattooed by Alex Reinke in his studio.

Planning a trip: London (Tattoo Convention) -> Bristol (visiting two dear friends) -> Paris (visiting new friend) -> Amsterdam (meeting up a friend since 13 years back) -> Bruxelles (visiting a close friend since 10 years) -> Berlin (new and old friends) It's going to be more than three weeks of travelling and I am really looking forward to all the new impressions, thoughts, experiences, ideas and input that I know will pass my way.

Been getting my shit back together :)
Back training just about everyday, eating clean. Fuck all drinking whiskey etc.
Dropped close to 15kg.
Oh, and motorcycles. Riding motorcycles of course :)

Paul Sayce and I are working on two films at the moment. The Paul Sayce Interviews is Paul interviewing tattooers who predominantly started tattooing in the 1960's/70's (Dennis Cockell and Ed Hardy so far, with more to come.) Also we've filmed a part for a bonus/extra feature about Jock of Kings Cross. And another bonus/extra part with Duncan X talking about learning to tattoo from Dennis Cockell in the 1990's.
The Paul Sayce Footage will be highlights from the hundreds of hours of footage Paul has taken throughout the last 30 or so years. Near enough none of which has been seen by the general public. Already mentioned in the london convention meetups thread but i figured i'd post here, all booked in with Tony Hundahl for Friday the 25th. Not set on the design yet but it's gonna be something hand sized to fill a gap on one of my legs. Probably. Maybe.

Usually i'd be around for the whole weekend but one of my best friends is getting married on the Saturday. How selfish of him!

I'll be there on the Friday. I have a session with Henning J in the late afternoon. It will be my fourth year in a row and I can't wait.
So if you happen to come across a pale Scottish guy getting his ribs hammered from 5pm onwards on Friday feel free to say hello to help me take my mind off the pain.

I am Marcel, 38 from Hoofddorp, Netherlands (10 miles from Amsterdam). (sorry for my grammar as it's not my native language)
Was just looking around the net and came across this forum, did a quick look around and think I could spend some time here :)
Because of that it is nice to introduce myself so here goes..
I started with a little tribal on the shoulder when I was 17, couple of years later another bigger tribal covered up the small one..
At this point I didn't know there are good, better and master artists. A tattoo artist is a tattoo artist....How wrong could I be...
Started looking up different artists in my country and talking to other inked people where to go for the best work.
Couple of years went by without getting any new ink...But then my mother died, that is almost 5 years ago now which changed my mind to wait any longer.
I found a good artist in Amsterdam: Tycho Veldhoen
He was an apprentice from Holland's most known tattoo artist: Henk Schiffmacher and his wife at the time, now he's one of Hollands best.
Now I'm just 4 appointments away from a body suit...Which I'll post when I can use HTML otherwise there will be a huge number of posts in this thread.

This weekend I took a big step in my tattoo journey. I now have a "highly-visible in every day life" tattoo on the inside of my forearm.

Birthday bro tats with my best friend, done by Gordon Combs of Art Work Rebels. Gordon applied my first tattoo in 2008 in San Francisco (and tattooed my friend that same year), been awesome following his work in recent years.

Well, now that PAX is over and I've had two days to sleep it off, I can get around to doing internet stuff.
@beez and I had a super fun time hanging out at Liberty a bit ago, because we decided we should probably go and get tattoos. Here is mine, by Christopher Ayalin:
