Hells yes!! I loved reading this adventure and look forward to more tattoo travels!!! I can't say thanks enough to you and Iwar for sharing these with us....you have placed the bar high for the next LSTers.........
-
One of my favorite things LSTers write about and share with us are their tattoo and travel adventures so thanks!
-
Good randomly running into you again at Blackheart yesterday before your Lehi appointment.....the drawing was looking good watching him draw it up so look forward to the finished product!
Once again pleasure meeting you!! Look forward to meeting more LSTers from elsewhere.....this blog has been great following!

Welcome back Shane and way to kick it off with an amazing blog....thanks for sharing!

Here is the thread where we have been discussing Vice's Tattoo Age

Welcome Joe...nice to see you set up your profile and plan on being active, thanks.

To think a PR person got paid to write this then it was approved.... If I was Spike TV &/or the production company I would fire this person and the chain of command who approved it in two seconds flat for representing a show so unprofessional let alone lack of research on the audience you're trying to attract..... Plus do your research...all they had to do was look around this site some and see LSTers have clearly laid out what would be a good tattoo show. Or do some research with tattooers that are respected and what their take is on all this tattoo/tv/media tornado and if they, tattooers, have suggestions on what a real and good show may entail. They spammed the site elsewhere also but our spam blockers blocked it. Yes I may get backlash from the above but those are my thoughts and keep yours coming.......
The above doesn't sound like what I could find online regarding what this series is supposed to be about. From what I could locate it is supposed to be a bunch of tattooers competing for best tattoo whatever that means as well as what ever it is worth. As mentioned in the above OG post from them it doesn't seem to show the other write ups on the series. I wonder if this was the show Scott was recently asked to be on........

Next time I go to New Orleans I'll have to get some input from LSters on where to go for food and tattoos!!!
-
Avery, I would have loved to continued north into Vancouver as it is an amazing city though this trip didn't allow. When I do I will let you know and we can meet up for some coffee and/or food.
MsRad, sounds like you know all sort of good spots up that way....I'll have to pick your brain next time.
Ms. Mikki, it was a pleasure and always so great seeing you as it doesn't happen as often these days! The next time will have to be longer no doubt so I can get the Mikki tour as the Bert Grimm site is a double whammy of graveyards and more tattoo history plus your favorite chefs restaurants, hot damn. The story you told me was pretty amazing about him and his wife. Thanks!

I love that blackheart anniversary machine and the new coils he's doing with the laser engraving are pretty bitching too.
Do you or Scott have a picture of the 222 machine or how about that one that's made from an old bolt or is it a nail and other random bottom of the tool box crap....

Tommy, here you go:
It's not painfully obvious, so here is a quick tutorial on how to add images that live on your computer to your posts:1. When replying to a thread, click the 'Go Advanced' button next to the 'Post Quick Reply' button at the bottom of the page.
2. Click the little paper clip icon - this is the icon that indicates attachments.
3. You should see a little pop up box titled 'Manage Attachments'.
4. Click the 'Browse' button next to any of the ten fields.
5. Browse to and select the image file you'd like to upload from your computer.
6. You can select up to ten images per upload batch.
7. Click the 'Upload' button.
8. Click 'Close this Window'.
9. You should now see your image files listed down the page below the text box where you are typing your post.
10. You can select 'manage attachments' if you'd like to add more. You can attach up to 20 images per post.
11. Once you submit your new post, you should see thumbnails of all of the images you have attached. Click on the thumbnail to see the full size version.
*Note that you also have the option to link to images that live on other websites such as flickr by selecting the little image icon and entering the URL to the image - this is available from the 'quick reply' editor, without having to select 'Go Advanced'.
Let us know if you have further questions, or are running into errors or problems when attaching images.
Enjoy.

If you post up the mailing address and/or an email that could be helpful and we'll tweet it from our LST twitter account. Oh yeah also when do you need the stuff by?

Looks cool.....I collect cemetery and religious stuff/objects/etc so much of the art I like and do is related. If it was in the Bay Area you'd see me there but Toronto I don't think is in my cards anytime soon.....thanks for sharing.

Each time I see this I enjoy it, thanks. The female getting tattooed is Chelsea Handler and see has a show called Chelsea Lately which every time I stumble upon it I am entertained.

The infamous Billy the Billboard has joined Last Sparrow Tattoo, wow! I don't think this is the place for you homie but we did have a thread started about you, Selling Your Skin.
If you do decide this is the tattoo forum for you and your "services" the spot to post this would be the Tattoo Marketplace and here are the restrictions for posting there:
Tattoo Forum: Tattoo MarketplaceBelow you will find a list of discussion topics in the Tattoo Marketplace forum. If you are tattooer or sell tattoo supplies, you can post 1 thread here advertising your product in exchange for a link to the forum. The threads in this forum need to be approved by admin/moderator so if you have posted a thread here, pm Team LST with a link to your site that shows the link back to LST.
Thanks and welcome to LST.
