Finally got in to get my first "since LST" tattoo, by Ryan Gagne at Classic Tattoo in Red Deer, Alberta Canada, awesome artist, awesome shop.

Done by Eric Inksmith. He's a great guy.

4th hit on my back. 7 hours on veil and leaves. Once healed veil will be an opaque grey to distinguish from the black and grey background, everything under the veil will be boosted once healed aswell,Thanks.

Got a new job last week! No more ambulances for me, its office life in SF until I find a nursing school that wants me.

Wassap guys, im new here to this site. Finally a quality tattoo forum. Ive been getting tattooed for around 4 years, my first was a cross by Dan Santoro. Ive been getting tattooed by various artists in the NY area, most of my tattoos have been from Kyle Sajban out of Red Rocket Tattoo and my left arm sleeve is currently in progress by Rodrigo Melo of North Star Tattoo. Awesome tattoos in this thread.
I have 2 sleeves as of now, I dont have any good pics of my right arm sleeve unfortunately, just old pictures. Heres some pics of my chest and my left bicep, which I had a session on yesterday. Two koi fishes on my left arm with some peonies and cherry blossoms.

ian oliver, stash at tattoo 13, deanna wardin, chris henry...a few others from shops around the bay area. I live close to blackheart tattoo now and im eager to get my next one there. @hogg

From March 3rd to 11th, my wife and I will be traveling to London. Started to make arrangements and plan out the trip. We've been there a couple of times but this one will be different as my wife and I are leaving the kids behind. Hooray for the mother-n-law! With that said I am hoping to get some tips on where to go and what to do from the Londoners that post on LST. Since we have been there before we are looking to do things outside of Big Ben and the usual tourist attractions. Can I get some tips? What are the must-sees? places to eat? Any advice would be much appreciated. Of course while I'm there I will be going to Frith Street for a couple of sessions on my back. Really stoked that the trip is coming quickly!

Ok so here are my latest additions. All of these were done over the last week while I was in New Zealand. First is a piece on my thigh by Simon Erl, got this one at the New Plymouth Convention;

I got this one from Capilli later on in the week, it was a bit of a fluke I sent him a text asking if he had any time before I went home and it turned out he'd had a cancellation. Heaps lucky;

And this last one was a session on my back. Jelle did the outline one night back in April and then I sat 5 more hours on it last Thursday. It's taking shape;

Sorry to be the one who says this, but that "tattoo" is never going to look good. Like ever... (please don't stop reading here)
If you didn't mention that it's supposed to be a pig I don't think anyone could have figured that out from just from looking at it. It just looks like you burnt your arm on the stove or something. Shop or not, friend of best friend or not, that guy should not be putting tattoos on people. My advice would be to give it a few months to heal properly, then seek a professional tattooer to get it covered. It doesn't look like it's going to be too hard to cover, but I'm not a tattooer, so that's just me guessing. There are really good tattooers frequenting this board that might be able to weigh in on that part.
I don't mean to be a dick and tell you that your new tattoo looks like shit, but if you just save up a little coin and go to a professional tattooer you can get that covered with something that will look infinitely better than what you've got on your arm now. If you poke around this site a couple hours you'll soon find out what good tattoos look like. I'm also sure that the good folks here will point you to some great shops and artists in your neck of the woods if you're interested.

Welcome to LST and glad you were able to find the site via googling your question and hope you'll find this community helpful...I must ask...I know the picture is close up and small though there appears to be several things that have me wondering so my first question is, was this tattoo done in a shop?
