Tattoo started peeling and part of it now looks like this. Almost like there is the yellow coming through the blue now. It seems like to me from the color my artist went over the eye in yellow then did blue over it which is now coming through after the peeling. Is this normal? If not can it be fixed?

how long ago did you have it done ?  if it's less than 6 weeks, then it's still healing.

it looks pretty fresh, so let it heal.

that's an easy cover up by the right tattooer , do some research for artists in your area that like doing coverups and do whatever style new tattoo that you want to get.

Hey everyone!  I have literally been kicking around tattoo ideas for over 20 years and decided in the past couple of months that it’s time to get it done.  I think the trigger was just realizing there really are timeless designs that I will still like in 5,10+ years. After visiting one well regarded shop, I felt rushed/uninformed and have a lot of thoughts/questions that I’m hoping you all may be able to help with.  Already looking forward to the insight and experience!

Does my tattoo looked scarred to you? Or do you think it’s looking normal? People have said it’s should be nearly healed by now? I’m very confused and anxious as this is a meaningful piece. ?

    I can't tell if it's scarred,

those people telling you that it should be healed by now are wrong,

and  I do know that tattoos take 6 or so weeks to fully heal, and longer sometimes.

    Hello,

I have just gotten a new tattoo. It’s been 8 days now and the scabbing has all come off naturally in the shower. Now I am seeing cloudy shiny skin after I wash it In the shower and it drys. Is this normal? Please help

    (standard answer/reply)

looks 100% normal to me.    what could it be ? , it's a  8 day old tattoo !

look at it again in 6 weeks, and NOT with a magnifying glass.

    don't over moisturize it.

    it will be fine

I am getting a 3/4 sleeve soon but I do eventually want to turn it into a full sleeve, should I plan a bigger design and make it a full uniform piece? or should I just do the 3/4 sleeve and wait until I have other projects to finish off the little remaing bit until my wrists?

there are no rules, just do what ever YOU want , it's up to you if you want a sleeve of all the same style or like me, just get what moves you that month.

I have full leg & arm sleeves and I am a mess of many different styles and genres , and I wouldn't have it any other way.

  8. stop worrying about it, there is nothing you can do about what a tattoo will do on your skin over the years,

is what people here tell you going to make you not get healthy and not lose the weight you want to ?

all those tattoos you have as with all tattoos on anybody ,will meld together and fade over the years.

that's just the nature of tattoos,

follow your heart and lose the weight, everything will be fine.

Hi ink lovers! Newbie to LST needing your insights. I have several pieces, all healed beautifully with no issues, my latest piece though (2 + weeks into healing) is doing my head in🤯 This Jezebel has a will of her own! Across her face, I'm not sure if it's over moisturized, scarring or paranoia. I know it's early days, touch ups are a thing and I'll only know for sure once it's fully healed, but would be great of you could share if you've had a similar experience. I'm reeeeeeeeally not looking forward to inking over scar tissue😫

so, no insight when everyone has said to let it fully heal first ?

    don't over moisturize it,

    can't tell with scarring yet,

and yes, sounds to me like a little paranoia ,

take a breath, relax, and take a look at it in 6 weeks and see if it needs a touch up then.

and I agree with @oboogie  , it's a tattoo, not a tat. that annoys me too.
