Plenty of great tattoos this month. I hold no illusions that mine here will win but I figure I'll share it anyway. I like it. The shark and a few water marks were done yesterday, the shipwreck is about two months old, the sea monster, compass star and an off screen squid, are all about six months old, and the map outline is about two years old. All of these were done by Kyle at Leviticus Tattoo in Minneapolis.

My smallest tattoo to date. This lil kung fu mantis is about the size of a loonie (that is a dollar coin in canaduh eh).

Also- my wife's mom, upon hearing we planned to get some new tattoos, commented that she would regret it when she was 80. Hell, if I make it to 80 I will be pretty damn happy. People need some new material.

This would not work with my kindergarten daughter who knows all about our tattoos. In fact she loves to go to the shop we like because every time we go in she gets to feed the koi fish and they give her a press on tattoo. We have had multiple conversations about how our tattoos are with needles under our skin, hurt, and are forever. She said she wants to wait until she is 50 but I guess we will see.

Haha, yeah it doesn't fly w/the kids at our school either. It was just funny. I work at a large urban school. I'd say a good 80% of the parents or more are tattooed...
I have a kindergarten daughter, too! She knows all about tattoos as well and has visited the shop with us many times (although now she's too bummed out by the taxidermy), and she comes with us to tattoo-related art shows.

Mark and I are actually a duo of high flying dough punchers that travel the country to challenge other bakers with our combination of trapeze and pink frosting.
It's like a rap battle, but with fondant.

Good to hear! I just did the 2 years of treatment, November 16 will mark 3 years since my last treatment, still aiming for the 5 year mark!

The first pic is what I started with and is a 10 year old tattoo. The other 5 are fresh. Sorry for mirror pictures. Nick was great and fast. I kept apologizing cause some spots were really painful, felt like a wuss

Made it up from Minneapolis this past weekend and my wife and I both got tattooed. We had a great experience at GLT.

Nice. It's always good to talk about music.
I think the best music I have been tattooed to was the Jack White pandora station. I have also thought it would be cool to have some really nice classical or Jazz on so that I can really focus on calming myself (I am not good at sitting still). Ultimately though I think the best choice is whatever helps the artist focus.
