Im in no way religious but recently placed a giant St. Francis on my entire belly. It has a deeper meaning to me than its religious implications, so its all good in my book.

He Ian,from personal experience i would try to find a tattooer that is trained with laser removal,rather then a Doctor.I wen't to a Doctor in MD like 10yrs.ago for my first laser session,and he charged me 450.00 for a piece on the back of my forearm.The clinics wan't you to make like 8 appointments so they can gradually lighten the area.The last two times i wen't to a tattooer to get lasered,and it was a better,more affordable experience.

Update, Justin Lee is back tattooing in town splitting his time between Adorn and Mr Tattoo. Not that urgent of a matter, but always like to make sure I give accurate info. Also Justin Dion has changed shops but still in the area and has a website bearing his name to contact him through. Now back to your regularly scheduled forum already in progress.

Steve Byrne does some nice clean work.He was a guest artist at Daredevil Tattoo in NYC a few years ago.He's one tall dude.My friend was going to get tattooed by him,but didn't have enough cash.Did you ever see Jon Reed Tattooer He does real nice traditional work.I remember seeing his work in the magazines years ago.I believe he used to work in Rhode Island.

I was thinking about how great that convention must have been.I wish there was a convention in the North East that even comes close to the quality of artists at that convention..Must be awesome to witness all that great tattooing in one place.

Mike Wilson is very talented but you don't have to travel that far to get a good tattoo.Federico does excellent work,but your going to pay a lot more getting tattooed at love & hate.My friend was down in Miami a few years ago,and wen't into love & hate inquiring about getting a christ head,and they gave him a price that was real high.He ended up going to south beach tattoo,and getting it from Federico for less than half the price he was told at Love & Hate.I believe the next year,he moved to love & hate.Like Dave Porter said there's plenty of shops in South Florida with some capable tattooers.
