I had a little stumble for a couple of days and slipped into an old, bad habit. It was just a little stumble....a very tiny one. But it was a reminder that no matter how solid you think you become, little cracks can appear from no where.

Oh, and I maxed out my phone credit with 10 days still remaining. That's fucked.

Nothing wrong with getting tattoos that don't have some deep and meaningful and fuckin mystical meaning attached to them. Good attitude. And good attitude too that you have a general idea but will leave it in the hands of your chosen tattooer.

And at least when he wakes up from being a fuck head, laser removal will blast those weak arse tattoos away piss easy.

From all the painful areas I've had blasted, it's the feet I'm borking at having done.

I had a shitty inside panel done in my early 20's. But I was young and fuckin wasted at the time.

What I wanna do is blast that panel solid black then throw a solid as fuck piece over the top.

Not being able to convince myself 100% at this time.

The wasted option is sounding a good one. No, not really...well maybe.

The fingers are painful. It's a funny area the hand and fingers as some areas are alright, then a few mils across, completely different.

Both my hands/ fingers were blasted solid but and we jack hammered the ink in so we wouldn't suffer drop out.

Getting down towards the cuticle of the nails were excruciating and working between the webbing also a little tricky.

there are more than enough half-finished tattoos walking around, especially now in the summer time. don't be another statistic!

Especially!! full back tattoos. A lot of people just do not appreciate what is required to sit through a full back tattoo. Time is not the only factor in the equation.

Haha, I had a mate who already had quite a few tattoos. Then he decided to smash full back rolling on to arse cheeks.

He got through outline and a quarter shading and that's where it stopped.

Then made some bullshit excuse that he was hitting a needle shy stage. That was 3 years ago. What a waste of such an awesome tattoo.

Yeah, the light on that's piss poor. Is it even white? Or is it scarification or that glow shit people get in to.

Remember when my brother (RIP) had his DRI tattoo smashed into his bicep.

That night, he's in the pit at a local HC gig.

Some dude literally dug his nails into his tattoo and virtually ripped the fuckin thing from his skin.

After I shook my head in compete disbelief that Robbie was even in the pit to begin with, the damage to that tattoo was unbelievable.

And nails, should of seen the infection that set in.

It healed an absolute mess.

He thought it added character.

I thought he was a fuckin idiot.

That's it mate. I love my Harley's to death. But there's something about a Trumpy Tiger that just says fuck yeah. I been looking for this bike for years, and it come about by not looking for it.

I snapped the kill switch straight up this arvo! Haha! Pfft, who uses them anyway. I'll file it off neat as that extension you don't flick down anyway.

Next motherfuckin weekend, I'll fire that Tiger and belt her through the hills. Be awesome to throw the little fucker around after handling the Wide Glide for so long :)

Maaaate. I've had a very lucky day. Jumped on the Harley this morning risking life & limb to crunch it across the other side of town in crazy peek traffic to look at this Tiger.

Apart from nearly getting T Boned from an impatient bastard running a red, I made it.

Jumped off the Dyna, took a deep breath in, rolled a smoke and took 3 minutes to collect my thoughts.

The bike was inside, and as soon as I seen her, I was in love.

I gently ran my fingers across the guards & tank..lay on the ground & had a little look at her under carriage, ran my hands across her seat..straddled her, and put the kick stand up.

I turned her on, & kicked her into life, 1st kick...and as that single carb model sat purring like a kitten not missing a beat...I didn't even need to take her around the block.

I kicked her down to first, then turned her off. Old mate just starred at me and I starred right back with either of us saying a word for a minute. Then all of a sudden, we both flickered a smile & I just nodded my head.

I turned to the bike and thought for a minute, then turned back to old mate & offered him a price $1000 under what he was asking. He said yes, I asked with a new battery, tyres & 12 months rego. He said...battery & tyres yes, you sort the rego. I leant across & as a sign of good will handed over a thousand deposit & the deal was done.

A 1978 Triumph Tiger with 4600 miles on her. A 35 year old brand new bike. Triumph produced 5 Bonnevilles to 1 Tiger hence why everyone seeks a Bonny. But this little 750 Tiger is a rare treasure.

What an awesome day.

The Mrs on the other hand wasn't so impressed.

It's a bit of a joke...a lot of people overseas think we have Kangaroos hopping down the footpaths in suburbia & that we all wrestle dangerous killer man eating salt water crocodiles.

Probably ol' Mick Dundee had something to do with that.

I just found a 1978 Triumph Tiger 750 that was found sitting in the USA now imported to Australia with only 4,600 miles on the clock (7,400 km's). Brand new paint, new rings.

I'm gonna view it tomoz morning, and if I can get if for what I'm expecting...that will be fuckin' awesome!

I don't know whether this will help ya but, with all my work which has entailed long sittings, we work out design say for my back & I say quote me for the job for a one up front payment.

Then I squirrel away what I need, then after the 1st sitting, I pay for the entire job.

That way, money is only discussed once, and we can both concentrate on the job at hand without any other interference.

Anyway, might not work for you nor your tattooer as it's hard to anticipate every factor regarding application along the way, plus...my tattooer I have known for years also, so he's happy to roll this way.

It's winter here.

Dry healing is taking a little longer than normal.

One week out from a freshy trying to dry heal, the tattoo actually cracked and started to bleed. Never experienced that before.

Hot wash down, little bit of Cetaphil, and like magic, the next day the last bit of scabbing fell away & the tattoo was nice and soft.

So, a slightly diff approach to healing now during these cold weeks.

A full back is the ultimate. Completely understand you dreaming of this, as we all did/ do.

Good advice above. Don't concern about the price. Choose the design, nut it out with your tattooer, build a rapport and your dream will come alive.

I personally hate the money Q, because a serious enthusiast will agree, it ain't about the dollars, it's about the sense.

For a 1st tattoo, full back is serious want. It can be done, but one also appreciates why there's so many unfinished back tattoos walking around.
