What's up everybody! I'm Cody and from Kentucky! Out my way we like fast horses, pretty women (or is it the other way around?), and good tattoos! I've been getting tattooed for 8 years and I'm just in the love with the art and tradition of tattooing. You come here, post some pictures of your "good tattoos", then when people try to help you out and inform you that your view may be a bit off, you get mad and act like a fucking douche? Take your head out of your ass. YOU CAME HERE!. The mission of this forum is partially to help collectors recognize what is good tattooing and what isn't. You couldn't handle honesty and a little humor...be gone.
Oh, and while I am at it. A good tattoo is not subjective. Someone saying their shit tattoos are good because it is personal preference does so because they don't know what is good and what isn't. You think because it is on your body, that it is amazing. Face it, your tattoos suck, I have tattoos that suck, everyone does. But the difference is most people can realize that the quality is not dependent on if it is on you or not. A bad tattoo is a bad tattoo.

Probably shouldn't even relate this one, but hey...
So, what, maybe 32 years ago, young and running wild, had hair down to my shoulders, beard down to my belt, one of my Brothers asks me to help him move some furniture at an old ladies house. Okay, we go there-she was a lady from his wife's church, and turns out she's an artist, works in oils. We move the furniture, and before we leave, she's all agitated, asks me if she can ask me a question. Sure. "Our church has commissioned me to paint a picture of Jesus for the sanctuary, and I've always worked from life...would you sit for me for the painting?"
Um...you gotta feature, I'm a shiftless scooter tramp, she's like 80 years old, all religious and holy and grandmotherly...what could I say?
So, if you ever are in a little church outside Chicago, and you think the pic of Jesus in there looks a tad familiar...

being a good person to be around is way more important, it just takes longer to get out of your way if you fall in my direction. just get tattooed and enjoy them

Getting tattooed by Jordan at Frith Street on Saturday, all being well. An old back problem has flared up again, I'm in fucking agony at the moment.
A couple of days taking it easy and I should be ok, fingers crossed.
