I'm falling behind in everything. Stupid little injuries are going to have me chasing little hogg. And I weigh 50lbs more than the guy, so I'm not even talking relative strength. The guy is a beast as-is.

I do barbell SLDLs to bring up my sad little hammies. There's probably some carryover to deads, but I mostly do them to prevent my chest from caving when I squat (my worst lift).

That's awesome that your lady is kickin' so much ass, @Rikhall. I pull conventional, erring on the side of straight-legged. I can't get with sumo. My issue is breaking the floor. If I can get the bar to my knees, I'm golden. Sumo is harder off the floor, then easier after. Doesn't sound it would suit me, but it sure seems to work for you.

Right on, @Rikhall. I'm 170 now, but it's the most I've ever weighed. 465 at a BW of 190 is great.

I follow the 5/3/1 template, which is similar. It's the gradual build-up that I enjoy so much.

We had a wild night deadlifting last night and both hit new PRs on deadlift 245 and a 465 getting closer to that 500 so fairly happy

Two months ago, I deadlifted 315x1 (for the first time in over two years) and an all-time PR of 325x1. Today, I pulled 315x3. It feels great to be progressing and breaking through some physical and mental barriers.

I just want to say that I read this thread now and then and my heart just sinks. I appreciate that this is a place where many of you feel comfortable sharing some of what you're going through, and I only hope that it offers you some measure of relief and comfort to know that many of us are thinking of you, and all of us are pulling for you

July is officially the hottest month of the year.

I've been seeing a lot of heads with the faces replaced with things like staircases or outer space. Been seeing a lot more hand poked work this year, and a lot of tattoos with backgrounds in various geometric shapes.

My buddy Aaron Hodges started doing "ship faces" a while back and they've really taken off. "Let's get shipfaced!" as he likes to say. I've seen a few other artists pick up on it, too. He's @aaronhodgesart on IG if you wanna check some out. I think they're great.
