Yesterday they had a goodbye luncheon for a couple of us that are being laid off. This is awesome, because we were both planning to retire! Saved 2 jobs, got severance pay and Cobra, and in 6 months we can go back to consult if they need us. Gave us both remembrances that say "Beam Off". Our company builds particle accelerators and medical equipment.

Spent this weekend at Riot Fest in Chicago, spending next weekend at The New England Shake Up in MA. I am not going to want to go back to an office job after this. 

hayyy! Just had my first 7 hour session about 4 days ago on my back. Man, the butt cheek HURT! I could do the back all day though. I'd have to say the itching right now is definitely the hardest part of getting this large piece. Still have a few more long day ahead before this baby is complete.
 

I love summer. I can always find a way to cool off. Now it seems to be fading away... sad. It always goes too fast and winter drags on too long.

I like it as-is, A nicely done tattoo. I find that it takes a while to adjust to a new tattoo, something has been added to your body. It takes a while to sink in.

I have had 25 year old tattoos gone over and made fresh again. The minimum for a touch up would be 2-3 weeks depending on a few factors. My 2nd sessions are usually done after 2 weeks.

Every time I am with my tattoo artist, he touches up his other work. I end up leaving with several fresh sections!

I believe my stepmother had a 666 tattoo on her head somewhere, I had the funeral director take a quick peek behind her ears... nothin'.

I have a neck and back injury so the neck pillow I mentioned is a must. I bring water or Gatorade and really not much else. I ask what everyone in the shop wants when I first get there and hit the deli next door.

This was done late last night, still needs a little finish work. The reaper is clutching a human heart, homage to my close call last October.
