Alrighty - horizontal scrollbars should be appearing beneath any embedded image that is wider than the viewable content area now. Let me know if I broke something else as a result.
Thanks again @MadeIndelible for the great suggestions.
That works great now.
Thank God there are people out there who know how to do this stuff . . .

Agreed. It is a very different experience. I associate getting burned more with getting tattooed, as it is the closest feeling I can relate it to.
or bee stings!
That usually scares them off . . .

Yeah, syringes never bothered me much - and I have no fear of tattoo machines (well, except for some choice body areas), but I never equated hypo needles with tattoo needles. No real correlation for me.

Biggest & baddest?
Next visit, have the whole team and gang waiting for him. See if his whining stops with a full audience.

I think tattoo art is still catching up with the rest of the art work - AT LEAST IN DIVERSITY (trying to head off the shitstorm of backlash, here). There is more and more variation in tattoo types. Dots. Abstract. Watercolor stylings. Whatever.
American traditional will always be the foundation here. Japanese and Indonesian will always be the foundation there - and crossovers will always exit.
Just like the rest of the art world, trends will come and go - and they SHOULD. It's part of the diversity of art in general, and helps keep things interesting.

@Jake -
I like both, but think you've got room for some smaller filler tattoos before you start with the stars and dots.

My daughters did it after their Mother passed away years ago - but I don't know of a whole family that did this. Would you all be getting the same tattoo? I can't imagine getting an entire family to agree to just 1 image.

If this pic blog had traditional tattoos in it, it would be like opening my skull at looking at my id:
Love it.
Wish they had instragram.

Check out Josh Wrede, I absolutely love his work
Fully agreed. I'd let him tattoo me, for sure.
I'm glad he's using plenty of dark black for your piece.
Now get yourself a Wynkoop and relax.

Just got my first tattoo 3 days ago. :) I've wanted it for years. I would love some feedback on it since I'm kinda in the freaking out stage because I'm such a perfectionist and I keep over-analyzing it lol.Going back for color in 2 weeks.

I like it a lot. The linework appears to be very solid and it's a great design.
Always credit the artist on photos . . .

I'm in the process of just trying to figure out where I should start, I have so many ideas floating in my head and in some folders on my computer. I just don't know where to start because I want all the tattoos to feel like one big piece. :p
I've only got 1 tattoo.
It just keeps getting bigger. :)

Definately need to do the back 1st, at least to see where that image leaves off.
I'm kind of partial to the Hooper idea, but my tastes gravitate away from the traditional, too . . .
