I thought I'd start this thread along the same sort of vein as tattooer's deserving some recognition ,except more like shedding some light on the classics.So i'll kick this off with one of my all time favorites,N.Y.C's finest -Tony Polito

Buying a king size print from one of your favorite artists, getting it framed properly, hanging it on your wall and taking two steps back.

I´ve been staring at the original hanging by Marius´ station for hours while getting tattooed, so when he decided to make giclee prints of it I had to rape my wallet and buy one.

My only question is why would you laser suck an awesome tattoo!! haha just kidding, but I do like it in some ways.
Anyways, how bad was it to get done? I've heard it hurts like crazy. I've also heard some places offer a topical ointment that helps with the pain.
I'm looking forward to seeing more photos and pictures of when you start getting it re-tattooed.

I figured I'd document my laser sessions here for those that would like to follow along. The Woman doing it is the Physicians Assistant for a Dermatologist near my house.
At my consultation she said she could do half at a time and today she said the reason was that if there was a negative reaction it would be on only half of the area rather than the whole thing. Today she said as long as this goes well she could probably do the whole thing in one session and after todays session it doesn't seem like it should be a problem, she did much more than half today.
They use the Medlite C6 which is, from what I understand, one of the best lasers on the market. I'm happy with the outcome so far, the skin isn't broken or anything and there's no blistering. My wife got something removed by another Dermatologist on her finger and it blistered and bled like a motherfucker. I'm not sure if she could have hit it harder today but I'd rather she not and not have it be a big bloody mess.

Last time getting tattooed for me was end of August this year... and in less than 3 weeks time I'll be back in Japan getting the sleeve finished ;) (and y'all can bet your collective asses I'm excited!)

I suggest going to shop and finding an artist whose work you like. They know what looks good and will put things where they need to go.

Loved this, probably my favourite episode so far in the series

I suppose it depends on whos available. The other factor is how much money I have. Theres not much demand for ageing overwieght rent boys in the runup to Christmas.
September was good. I was tattooed 5 times that month. Mainly due to the London Tattoo Convention.

At the moment, I'm going around once every 2 weeks. That seems about right to me - just enough time to forget how much it hurts, and the horrible "hangover" I get the day after.

Ideally every day.

Once a week if I could. Problem is I don't want to run out of skin!

Well, I have been getting tattooed every week in what will become a year very very soon. With a few breaks while my tattooer has traveled to Europe. If money could allow it I think I could go more offten or longer session, but it's better this way so I don't get too carried away.
