  1. Has anyone ordered prints to the UK before? How long did it take?

Been waiting for almost three weeks...I want them...now! Just getting a bit impatient I suppose...

There's a chance you'll have to pay an import fee, and they're 'holding' it. If so, you'll recieve a letter saying how much you have to pay. It happens to me all the time.

  2. Yup I got tattooed by him this year at the Convention :)

Not sure if would be up for a chest but I suppose it wouldn't hurt to ask.. What you think of the idea??

    Oh, haha!

Yeah, I didn't really think my post through - re: chest at a convention - do you know if he did a guest spot anywhere in London before and/or after the convention? That would be better.

Re: design - the person you chose to get tattooed by's opinion is the only person whose opinion will really matter. But it sounds fine to me.

  3. Cheers dude, was just wondering if design would look right? I'm hunting for a tattooer to do it now. Would love to go back to Paul Dobleman as I love his stuff but I'm in the UK so could be tricky..

May not be that hard if you're willing to wait, as I believe Paul was at the London convention last month(?) That's not to say he's guarenteed to be there next year. But you could always find out.

  4. I went up a few days early to get tattooed by Bert Krak at Frith Street the 'MUM' rose, attached. And went to the 'Miniature Ink' exhibition at Atomica Gallery that evening, where I bought the small works on sale by Curly and Alex Binnie.

The day after I went to the 'Time' exhibition at Somerset House, I definitely recommend it.

The first day of the convention I didn't do too much, went to meet Ed Hardy first thing pretty much. I bought the 'Nurse Mercy' lithograph, and he signed my copy of Tattooing the Invisible Man, relatedly - I was walking around later, and to my surprise - I saw Bill Salmon, so I also asked Bill to sign it.

Second day - got a sacred heart from Freddy Corbin, whilst my friend next to me had a very long sitting (6 hours?) with Mike the Athens.

Today I only went to pick up the lithograph and went home!

I saw a few LST'ers, but didn't want to bother anyone.
