  1. Your crazy. If you are using the correct creams and washing it consistently it probably won't even end up stabbing and getting itchy. Cocoa butter has to be the worst thing to put on it as its fragranced and is really bad for an open wound. Stick to Bapenthem or something someone else above has suggested like the OP has suggested above.

By the way the less you wrap it the better as it needs air to heel. Your basically doing everything you shouldn't

Palmers is good post heal, but I stay away from it for the first week because it has petroleum in it.

thanks guys, but I know my skin and I know what works for me ,this method works great for me.We all heal differently.

  2. maybe there is another thread about this already but im just putting this question out there. I have 2 full sleeves, a small leg piece and a big chest piece. My arms are both fish related as i love aquariums and sea life. The piece on my leg is for my wife and kid. But my recent lion head chest piece is just cause i feel it just looks badass and i love lion tattoos. But people keep asking me where i got the idea for a lion tattoo. They want to find a meaning behind it and find it weird to get such a huge piece with no story behind it. I know i dont care what they say but whats a good response? I know most tattooed people get this dumb question and statements so what are some of your responses to this. Thanks

well,I guess I'm weird then,I like the attention and questions I get about my tattoos,I just am nice to people and enjoy talking to them, especially plainskins, but then I like to talk to strangers,I am pretty outgoing that way,I love talking to people about my tattoos and tattoos in general and artists I have been to,etc, etc

none of mine have any really deep meanings,I will explain to people that ask or I talk to maybe what the art is and where, when,I got my cool art/designs.

as for you,my advice is,when you get questions about the lion tattoo, you already answered your own question, just tell them "i feel it just looks badass and i love lion tattoos".

    just my .02

  3. yes,I agree, what happens when you don't miss her anymore ? there is no rush, sit and think about it more, maybe look into good artists in your area and get a consult appointment and discuss a tattoo with an artist.

  4. After 4 years of having to see the guy across from me pick and eat his boogers every time I turn my head, I decided to record it for proof's sake in case there is a justifiable homicide investigation on me!

Imagine seeing this EVERY time you turn your head or leave your desk. #puke #biohazard #killmenow

YIKES LOL that's pretty bad !

  5. I have a large side torso piece that came down a little on one butt cheek, and all I can say is for me the butt is the most painful place I have ever gotten a tattoo.I like showing my tattoos, and I can show most of them with shorts and a tank top,but a ass tattoo would be the weirdest one to show off ! LOL

  6. Agree, it's better to not tattoo on the moles. At least then you can monitor your health by making sure the moles aren't growing or changing colour.

I've got a big tattoo where a major part of the outline breaks to bypass the mole. Other tattoos where there is a water bubble or someother detail around the mole. On the flipside I got a tattoo on my neck where we just ran it over NFG and now I got a mini black skin tag. meh

You aren't going to die, relax and enjoy :)

    I agree,

and here is what one of the artists did on me,most experienced good artists will not tattoo over moles.

  7. ...so my Mom decides to clean my room one day when I was living at home. She was flipping all the mattresses in the house.

And she finds this ziplock back of epsom salts.

So when I get home I find Mom sitting quietly and anxiously tells me to sit down we need to talk.

She says she found something under my bed ... I'm like oh shit mom just found my best porno mag.

Then she asks me if I was on drugs. I'm like Mom!?! WTF!?!

Well I guess dear old Mom was really upset and concerned all afternoon, thinking i had started a cocaine habit !!

So I had to come clean and tell her they were epsom salts for soaking my fresh nipple piercings LOL.

That ended the conversation right there, she didn't want to hear about lol.

She didn't find the dirty magazine stash...yet...that's a different story and my younger brothers fault.

ok not about my first tattoo, but about my first piercings

    RIP Mom <3

    LOL great story :)

  8. Hey Dylan every tattoo you get doesn't have to be meaningful.Sometimes you just get tattooed because you like tattoos, regardless if there's a meaning or story behind the tattoo.

I think a koi, dragon, eagle,Panther, roses, would cover that up.I would make an appointment with an artist whose style you like and take it from there.

Hi Dylan, welcome to the forums, this above is great advice.

  9. As a 60 year old male, I can tell you that some of mine heal slower, especially in the bendy areas.

Is the pain worse than it used to be? Probably, but I can put up with it better.

I can say that I am a slave t the lotion because I am prone to dry skin and nothing looks worse than a scaly tattoo.

And since everything I own is paid off, I am accelerating the program.

They say that you can't take it with you, but I damn sure am going out very decorated!

these two points are great, and I agree, the mental pain control seems to work better for me than ever, and yes we have worked hard to get to a good financial place,I'm not a wealthy guy,but not owing any money is a form of wealth IMO.
