  1. What a load of pathetic crap.

I do believe it's made up though...seriously, even if this had happened for real (and I'm sure that's very well possible), why on earth would you write an article about it? Surprised to find such a super low quality article in the Guardian as well...

  2. No, SPF really matters! An easy reference I see is if you burn in 10 minutes, then using SPF 8 will allow you to stay in the sun up to 80 minutes (10 minutes * 8) without burning. And that assumes you keep applying it regularly. Putting more of it on doesn't get you an extension! :D

That's what I've heard as well (mother-in-law is a dermatologist ). That said, the calculation doesn't seem to quite work anymore for high SPF. As far as I know, SPF 50 protects only a tiny bit longer than SPF 30 and is not really worth the money.

    What’s Wrong With High SPF

  3. Lots of good input here already especially from @SeeSea. May I also throw in this idea:

    Girl's head with cheetah

Also, have you tried googling or checking out Pinterest for cheetah tattoos? Just asking because I don't think it's really that unconventional...and it might show you more ways of incorporating the pattern into a more interesting tattoo. I'm aware that cheetah and jaguar are not quite the same. That said, they are very similar, just from different continents, aren't they?

  4. Maybe it's just me, but when I try the search box I end up with an empty white area where the search results should appear...

I'm using the latest Chrome on Mac.

Actually, sorry, it is just me. I keep forgetting that I'm using Ghostery to block unwanted trackers and stuff and it blocked the Google Search API in this case. I whitelisted it and it works like a treat now, thanks!

  5. I also printed out for her the koi design I'm getting and asked her to colour it for me. Now she's really excited and wants to show the tattoo artist her colour choices ;)

    How sweet!

I actually saw some tattoo colouring books at the Tate Modern shop the other day and initially thought that it was a bit over the top to get little kids into tattoos already...but your story brings a totally new perspective to this. I'm curious to see how my two year old son is going to react to my first tattoo :-)

  6. Just want to add that I would like you be indulgent please with my English.. as it's not my mother language.

In fact I'm working for a Canadian company based in Luxembourg so I have no excuses but sometimes it's hard to express things like emotion behind a tattoo or real feelings in other language. I will do my best and this forum will also allow me to improve my english writting in addition of seeing world best tattoo's

Hey, don't worry about your English! I'm not a native english speaker myself but have been living in London for seven years now. I was pretty much like you in the beginning...I triple checked every email I wrote, got people to proof-read my stuff etc....but I came to realise that nobody gives a sh*t really. As much as one is expected to know English, people don't care how perfect it is as long as they can understand you.

There will always be room for improvement and it's good to learn, but don't stress out. The best thing you can do is use the language (this forum is certainly a good place ;-)) and go to the pub, hehe...

  7. I agree with @growltiger. I don't have tattoos on my belly, so no experience here, but did have a baby and didn't get any stretch marks. The belly has a somewhat different shape than before now but to be honest I'm not doing much exercise and I'm not that young anymore, all these things may play into it. Under the bottom line, you don't know in which way your body is going to change but the tattoo would get stretched for sure, so keep that in mind ;-)

  8. So, looking at actual tattoos of the tattoed cats I noticed that most (all?) of them seem to have quite a bit of white ink in them....so far my understanding has been that white ink was a bit of a no-no due to quick discolouring/fading...

Am I mistaken or blind perhaps? Or do we not care in this case because the cats a just too cool (which they are of course)...?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, still trying to learn...
