Good shops/artists in Barcelona?

Recommended Posts

Not sure if this is the right forum for this, but not sure where else to ask. Does anyone have recommendations for good shops/artist in Barcelona? I was going to go check out Mark Mason at Addicted Tattoo, who does hand-poked tattooed (not sure if that's the right term for it, but theres no machine involved). Can't find any info about him other than on the Addicted website though. His stuff fits well into my aesthetic. Anyway, any recommendations?

i went and looked at his stuff on the intervebs, there's some nice work in there and even cooler if all of that is hand poked.

I thought he was in Madrid? Not like I'd be able to get an appointment with him anyway.

You never know? Hit him up on email or give the shop a call and just ask :) depending on the size of the piece or what your looking at getting he might have time or be really into the idea and be keen to get it done?

    • Tattoos don't heal on a schedule. 4-6 weeks is a general guideline. I had one that didn't completely settle for a year. It was the purple color that didn't look quite right. I forgot about it and at some point I looked at it and noticed that it looked perfect.
    • That's why you double check before you give the go ahead to start. Don't worry about it. I showed it to my wife and she didn't even notice. Only in our dreams do other people care about our tattoos.
    • Just enjoy it. It doesn't change the meaning. And yes, stencils are always reversed.
