If you want to get a big piece, why don't you go for a big composed piece, instead of what looks like four one-shot tattoos?  I have both - one arm is a bunch of stickers, and one arm is one complete tattoo, and I like both, but I'd not try to put on a bunch of flash sized bangers all at once.
They are too close together right now. They either need space or flow.

I bruise like that sometimes, but it doesn't still feel warm a week out. I think it is worth asking about. You're not complaining, don't think of it that way. You have a valid concern.

Your skin healed over the ink. You can take good care of your skin (exfoliate, moisturize, sunscreen) to keep the tattoos in good shape, but they will always be ink under skin.
They look fine from here. Nobody else is going to get as close to them as you are.

IMO the best traditional filler is more tattoos. Biker dust is overdone, and wind/waves aren't in the traditional vocabulary like Japanese style.
Matches, snakes, bugs, lady legs, daggers - make them small and cram them in there.

How long have you had that? It looks fresh, with the skin still angry. Let it heal. B&G softens up quite a bit. Yes, of course you can speak to your artist about your concerns, it is your arm. She should not get angry, and should explain to you what her plans are and show you a fully healed example of what she's doing to you.

Yes it is possible it could also just be healing at a different time of year, or healing from a different artist etc.
Try some cortisone or Benadryl cream on it. It doesn't sound like it is bad enough to go to the doctor yet. You can always ask your tattooer.
