Honestly, based on appearance and how some of these artists conduct themselves on the show, I'd probably not consider getting anything done by 90% of them. Sausage has done some real nice work on the shows I saw of this season, but I agree...get a real name.

I just read N0S482 by Joe Hill looking for a fix after Locke and Key and I enjoyed it , though not as much as I wanted to. His ideas are awesome and creepy but the book was a bit jumbled and boring at times. Plus theres a car which runs its self in it , has he been reading too much of his dads books ? Or did he get his dad's feedback and he told "Its good son , but needs moar creepy car action"

Laser just seems more natural to me , let your body deal with the ink. All this "drawing out " of ink with salt like it was pus in an infected wound sounds wrong and potentially scarring.

Here are a couple of lady heads that I have. The first one is about 11 years old in the picture. The second one is a couple of days old and healing in that picture after I picked it up last summer (as you can tell by the scab on her upper lip). Both were done by Robert Frazier from Winston Salem, NC.

a point of view that I fully agree with, sidenote

I never get too concerned about other people's tattoos. I don't know their story or how they came to have their tattoos. I also never crap on anyone about their tattoos (or clothes, or taste in music, etc). Life is too short to waste time and energy harshing on other people. Historically, I look at older tattoos and appreciate the tattooer and the client for paving the way for the things that came next. I have enormous respect for people who blazed the trail and made things easier for me. (Full disclosure - I got my first tattoo in '91 or '92. And yes, there are times that I shake my head and wonder what people were thinking - I just keep it to myself)
