Got my girlfriend a Stephen Wiltshire print for Christmas.
He's an unsual guy. An an autistic child growing up, he didn't speak, but used art materials to communicate. Over time it became clear he was both a talented artist and someone who had an unusually good visual memory.
He's best know for drawing street scenes and city panoramas from memory, using fine-line black pens.

Bought her a print of the Toronto skyline (it's a city we visit together a lot). What I really want, though, is one of the big panoramas ... Tokyo, ideally.

i have about 20-25 tattoos from the guys at smith street. 7 were planned and the rest came off the walls for the most part. getting tattooed there is the best/most fun tattoo experience every single time.

There's a beautiful ROA painting in Tattoo City. I attached a mediocre picture of it, but that's probably best anyways. Go see it in person!

I was going to get that too, and then without knowing my best friend did so I don't want to anymore. Then I thought about doing matching Jap flowers but my dude has that on his. So now I'm probably going to do a rose on one and a peony on the other.... maybe... unless I think of something else.. also thought about doing a tudor rose on each..
I tried to find a picture of my friend's knees and couldn't but found this from the same artist. His name is Stuart Archibald.

Currently healing a sun and moon pair of knees from Trevor Taylor at Liberty Tattoo in Seattle... based on some Bert Grimm flash (his idea).

the documentary on every important era of america is really well narrated and has amazing production. perhaps a personal favorite because i love the gilded age
