  1. Yeah man. I think most of us know that it isn't very polite to discuss how much someone charged you, etc etc. People who make it about the money don't care about the art. Luckily, those of us who actually get solid tattoos by solid tattooers can say so. I mean, bragging itself is poor manners, but it sure is nice knowing in your head.

My mom told me a story once about how she was checking out at the grocery store. The person in front of her was covered in shitty tattoos. She called me later, relayed the story and said, "The only thing I could think was my son has so much nicer looking tattoos." :)

  2. Yikes dude. I don't know man, that's tough. Tattoos aren't perfect as they are done by human beings, who aren't perfect. But, you are going for a distinct look and feel, so it doesn't sound like you're gonna be too happy either way. Let it heal. Try not to fret too much, and then go to Jinx Proof ^^^^^^ and get it lasered off! Ok, you might now need to go to DC, but you'd probably be happier getting it removed and then starting fresh.

  3. Do you have any recommendations for starting a program. I have books and weight lifting anatomy charts.

I'm 6'1", about 220 lbs. Mostly beer belly. I was a runner for years and spent the better part of my 20's at around 170lbs.

But my knees suck now, and I want to get tone, stronger, and get fit again. I can't seem to find a program that actually feels like it is working.

I should also add I'm a vegetarian, but my eating habits suck. Comes with working 10 hour days.

  4. If you have the time, stop into the shop and chat about it. It'll make you more comfortable. But, if I had to postulate, bring three or four bills depending on the size. I'm assuming this is just a smaller one-point thing. That way you can overshoot, and have enough to tip like a champ.
