A few different guys; my "regular artist" (if you will) is Nick Oaks, and I have 5 pieces done by him (and filler upcoming). Also been tattooed by Franz Stefanik, Ron Wells, Dennis m del Prete, and a local guy in Vermont. The cobra, morning star, rats, reaper, and dagger are all Nick, the church is Ron Wells, the ponies are Franz Stefanik (one shot, might I add), and the eye of providence is Dennis m del Prete.

I had a fantastic experience at Diamond Club last night with one of my favorite tattooers, Brian Kaneko (truenaturetattoo on Instagram). I got this peony:

Shad, Junii, and Dr. Claw were there, too, which made it even more fun. But the best part is that @Iwar wanted to get something from Brian, but couldn't get an appointment. He asked if he could show up during mine, and I said, "Of course!" He walked in right after I got there, so I introduced him to Brian and Shad. They all started laughing, then Brian said, "By the way, I tattooed him earlier today. I had a cancellation." So now Iwar and I are not only banhammer bros, but we're botan brothers, too.

Had an ass and back of thigh shading session yesterday. It wasn't so bad. The imperial stout helped keep my spirits up.

However, @mmikaoj if it helps, I totally understood what you said in your original post. I think everyone (yourself included) made valid points on the discussion of old tattooers. Personally, I lean towards up and coming with the pipe dream that they may be the Eddy Deutsche's or Horiyoshi III's of the future. Right?!
And @hatchettjack I don't think you get what tattooing means to a lot of the folks on here.

@HaydenRose, I think those peonies just singlehandedly sold me on asking for a big fat floral something on my arm next. I was waffling on which idea to run with first, but...those are just gorgeous.
