  1. Cool, thanks Jason. As for the oyster po' boy hells yeah I had one or more! Plus an alligator one and some other variations! If ever given the opportunity to own properties New Orleans will be one of them hands down. Like I said I don't even drink and the debauchary was an earthquake of radical!!! NO is one hell of a town.

  2. Jason, thanks for adding some valuable info. Next time I am there, hopefully sooner than later, I'll try and checkout those shops. I hope someone will join the site who has more info on this "feud" as it sounds like a great story!?! As for the food....not many places compare! Then you add the hospitality, the beautiful and rich architecture and damn it is a great place and I don't even drink and loved it even Bourbon St. for the debauchary!

  3. Thanks for the link and then bringing some of that content over here. I really enjoyed looking around and reading the current tattoo blog you have while looking forward to more contributions here at LST.

Thanks again and until next time....have a good day

  4. Oh yeah? Post some pictures. Thanks for starting a blog with your profile and would enjoy hearing and seeing more. So you know if you would like to make it so a link is easily accessible and people don't have to copy and past use the insert link button (the globe and sideways eight looking one) when doing your post.

  5. haha, Mike Lucena does look like him. Someone tell him to get over here and join us we're hipper than brooklyn, haha!

Way to kick off your blog Mario with such a hot conversation grabber!!!

Alright here is my small list goes:

    Cody Miller

    Zach Johnson

    Nate Leinfelder

    Nick Rodin

    Tom Prosche

    Iggy Vans

    Mongo

    Scott Sylvia

    Freddy Corbin

    Tim Lehi

Some people I can not remember as many years and times are very blurry.

  6. Yeah we went to Magazine St and had a blast throughout that whole city! Maybe we'll get some NOLA people on here who can school us on the local tattoo scene in New Orleans!?!?

For a shop in the French Quarter, that would be amazing. the houses, apartments, and buildings in general are insane. Could you imagine the crazy shit you'd see go down? That could be a tv show in itself!

Thanks for visiting and contributing to my blog as well as the site!

  7. Nick, I love the simple navigation and the straight forwardness of your site. The content is so rich and intriguing that it gives a more genuine confidence in your work not some flashy nonsense that disappoints.

How about that shark/unicorn? Did you do that on Nick Rodin for hustling you? For reals though on the tattoo photos I loved them with the traditional american style and boldness with your own twist/flavor. That rock of ages back piece is awesome, did you ever get to finish it? Color or black and grey? A chef for tattoos if you will. Yes, i am getting cheesy here but it is well deserved! Go check out this site and get tattooed if you are out that way, Chicago, LSTers!!

Then the flash of the multiple cities was very enjoyable, are you continuing to do these variations for your friends? The history is always enjoyable especially an american touch as I have seen very little of this done well.

As for suggestions I would go with Tammy on the font size other than that I was drawn in!!!!

Alright once again thanks for your continual contribution not only here but to tattooing in general!!

  8. Damn Patrick! Yet another LST members kickings off their tattoo blog with a loaded tattoo topic. As everyone said above the list goes on and on and I like the record store analogy. The hardest part for me is making appointments as when I want to get tattooed I just want to get tattooed which is all the time but finances help filter this somewhat. Anywho to contribute who the next two I am dying to get tattooed by are Thomas Hooper (where ever but right kneecap could be fun) and Tim Hendricks (would love to have him do rose and other filler on my front). Thanks for bringing such a great tattoo blog topic!

  9. Jill thanks and I look forward to reading/seeing your and other accounts on how the weekend unfolds including the big rematch between Nick and Scott. Nick, I heard there are flyers floating around and the bookies are already taking bets? Scott, is in an undisclosed empty warehouse training with Cody and Juan studying the film from the first mashup, for reals though. I just realized it is a grad school weekend full of classes so I will be unable to attend, motherfucking school. Anyways, thanks for keeping those of us who can't make it educated on what is guaranteed to be a great weekend!!

  10. Chad thanks for your first tattoo blog with us. I was checking out your other blog today http://chadkoeplingerslife.wordpress.com/

and hope you'll continue to share with LST as well!?!

    Alright here it goes:

Village Park houses, apartments, and streets, Encinitas, CA

    Ocean Tattoo, San Francisco, CA

    Temple Tattoo, Oakland, CA

Picture Machine Tattoo, San Francisco, CA

Idle Hand Tattoo, San Francisco, CA

    Blackheart Tattoo, San Francisco, CA

    Sacred Tattoo, Oakland, CA

    Tattoo Thirteen, Oakland, CA

    Lyle Tutle's, San Francisco, CA

    Tattoo City, San Francisco, CA

    Frisco Tattoo, San Francisco, CA

Some random apartments and houses throughout the Bay Area

Damn, is that all? And they are all Bay Area (the "professional" tattoos at least)? For how much I travel you'd think I'd have tattoos form elsewhere? I guess I spend too much time exploring and eating when traveling. I need to be more mindful of this and collect tattoos like a passport maybe on my right leg!?!?

Clive, thanks for sharing as well! Is the "and more soon..." upcoming appointments or still trying to remember them all?

Thanks again and lets hear the places LSTers!!!!!

  11. Good evening and thanks Wendy for visiting, commenting, and contributing.

I am not one to judge others for their tattoos (I try not to) as I think it is part of the process if someone happens to get more than one tattoo. Each experience you learn from, like life. As some have said I have more faded, shakey lined tattoos than someone who's been locked up their whole life.

Lastly, I must say those tigers on your legs do look like Lehi just did them! It is funny because every time I see you those two tattoos really standout.

Thanks again and until next time....have a good evening!

  12. I think the analogy of a doctor and dentist appointment in comparison to a tattoo appointment are perfect. It is the little things that are often over looked by the consumer that are really important for that and potential future visits. Cause hey, you may end up visiting your tattooer more often than your doctor or dentist, I know I try to.

Also the cleans shoes, socks, and clothes are key for sanitary reasons plus much much more.

Thanks for your first blog Julio! I/we look fwd to what you bring to the community!?!

Until next time.....have a good day.
