Ducky15568 got a reaction from Illiad86 in Japanese style octopus tattoo
Looks like an octopus to me. Octopus are kind of alien in a way if you think about it though. I wouldn't read into too much of what people say though, its solid work and once the coloring is in it will be read better as others said before. It does remind me of the Doctor Who suit alien though...

Ducky15568 reacted to bongsau in Should I add watercolour to my new tattoo?
The tattoo is already very busy for a small area. If you start adding non-sensical crap in behind the tattoo it will not age nicely and look like a faded colour blob. It will draw the eye away from the text-heart-cathedral-ferriswheel-flowers...see already lots going on.
If you ~really really~ want a super cool watercolour tattoo, get a separate tattoo and go with the watercolour style. But I would suggest you first search the forum for others opinions on that particular style of tattoo and why it has many critics.
I've seen maybe 1 watercolour tattoo out of hundreds that was done well and looked like a proper tattoo. And it's only because the tattooer was smart enough to put in a proper full outline. But hey I got my tattoos and you can get whatever you want for yours :)

Ducky15568 got a reaction from marfil98 in Absolutely hate my 1 month old tattoo
Sorry for your loss, man. Ive been there.
Its a solid tattoo. I understand that loss can make the tattoo process hasty for a memoriam but as others have said, just keep getting some more tattoos. You got this.

I vote to continue with the graveyard scene around and down your arm. More tombstones, skulls, zombies, evil shit...would be really cool.

Ducky15568 reacted to FappyVanWinkle in Graveyard 1/4 Sleeve Help!!
New to the forum, had my upper arm done by two different artists. I posted before and after pics. First job came out great except I wasn't happy with the the raven, its faded and is huge compared to everything else. So I went to a different artist I found on Instagram and he added some things to take away from the raven. More tombstones, a broken gate, and some bats. These tattoos are a year old and 3 weeks old respectively. Overall I like the tattoo much better now, but I want to continue it around the inside of my upper arm. Came on here to see if anyone has ideas for me. The tattoo symbolizes loss, death and sadness in my life. I would love to have the other side symbolize good things in my life, like loyalty, and honor. Any ideas would be cool, and if I have to continue with the loss/death theme on the inside I will take ideas for that as well. Just want it to be seamless all around. Thanks

Ducky15568 reacted to suburbanxcore in Tattoo of the Month February 2017 - SNAKES
Well, speaking of Scott, here is my shin/almost entire lower leg. It wraps in a way that makes it really hard to get a good shot. Done in one shot at the Pagoda City Convention in 2015. I'm posting from work and Photobucket is blocked, so hopefully these pics work out.
Also, it should be noted that @embers and @graybones TOTM winning snakes are two of my favorite snake tattoos. They're incredible.

Well, I guess I'll throw my "cat" in the ring (groannnn haha).
I'm very happy with how this turned out. The pics are of the fresh tattoo. It has healed beautifully. Done a month ago by Franz Stefanik at the Okey Doke in Toronto, ON.
I'll toss in the before and after pics too as it was a cover up of a sad old bird. 32 years old to be exact. And, I love the line work !

All have been amazing so far!!!
Here's a panther and some roses done by Jebb Riley, done at Congress st tattoo. This was a spur of the moment cover up started while I was waiting on Chad Koeplinger to color in my chest eagle. He was running late, so I made good use of the down time. Done in 3 sessions. Second pick is a half shot of it healed several years later.

Let's keep this momentum going! My panther vs. snake by Bailey Hunter Robinson. This tattoo just celebrated it's 5th year looking out at the world. Done in one sitting with about 4 hours of tattoo time, while Bailey was still in NYC.
This was my first big tattoo, and I'm still stoked on it everyday!!!
Play on LST.

ok - I'm gonna be first to enter with my Robert Ryan Mandala Leopard which resides on my stomach - hopefully the leopard can qualify as its the closest thing to a panther that I have - no hard feelings if it doesnt meet the qualifications - done at Electric Tattoo in Asbury Park NJ - if you havent been tattooed by Robert or been to Electric - well...you're missing out - luckily I live only short drive from the shop - anyway - here you go...btw - this tattoo also made his awesome book - The Inborn Absolute :)
