Dan used to work at Invisible years ago,and does very nice work.He doesn't work at a high profile shop,and is a low key dude,but both Ricky & Dan at Inkman do real nice Asian work.

I was talking with a client of Shinji last year,and he said he's booked up for over a year.Kaz is originally from Japan,and has a private studio in the city.You probably don't have to wait as long. I don't think what your describing is what this guy did.He did just post some old tattoos that he got redone by an artist,and maybe he wasn't happy how they turned out.I just think he's looking for a better tattooer to redo some older work he has.

Kings Ave has the most talented crew. Grez tattooed me over 10yrs.ago,and the tattoo looks like new.But those guys are usually booked up for a while,and they can pick and choose what projects they want to do.And some artists that reach a certain level don't like to finish what another artist started.It won't hurt to go to the shop to see if one of the artists is willing to finish your work,but you may have to go to a lesser known artist who isn't booked up for a long time to finish your work. I did meet a guy in the city who had a Japanese backpiece from Joe Black,and it was nice work.

Probably going on Saturday..I think there's a lot of good & mediocre tattooers attending.But they could cut the booths in half,and just have all good tattooers.I personally like the bigger space,because I like to roam around the convention floor checking out all the booths.The only fucked up thing is getting in and out of the convention.

Conventions can be a good time.Shane is a well known tattooer,so he probably has good shops at the show.I looked at some of the shops,and some that I like. Mecca Tattoo Bradley Tattoos Instagram don't know if this guy will be there,but he does good work.
