We spent a lot of time in Quebec City, in the old section. Beautiful. I ate poutine every day and smuggled foie gras home.

If I walk by someone on the street who is heavily tattooed and we are both eyeing each others stuff I'll just nod or smile as I go by them.
If I get in a situation say waiting in lone at the bank and there's someone in front of me with nice tattoos I'll just look and not say anything. If they start a conversation in a polite way I have no problem telling them what shops I prefer in town or who did a certain tattoo. I'll often ask them the same. Usually though I've found neither party says anything, just take a look and goes on their way.

Oh god Gouge. I want to murder stuff when I notice some look at my tattoos and then start talking loudly about how they wanna get all tatted up. Usually it's dudes that are just trying to look cool in front of the tattooed chick and usually I laugh in their face 'cause that's how I roll.
So I'm at work right now and someone just touched my arm and said "you're all marked up arnt you" I said yup I've got a couple. Her reply "do they come off?" "no" " you mean you're stuck with that forever!?" "yup"

Here's one that I've always liked! It's by Mike Wilson. And if you knew the guy in the photo, please know I mean no disrespect by posting this, he was a friend of mine to, and he had and did some awesome tattoos.

I really like the simplicity of the design. The shading is so minimal yet so effective.

I enjoy collecting books, weapons and weird occult stuff. Metal (Cannibal Corpse, Bloodbath, Dark Throne, etc) is where my music tastes are greatest followed by classic piano. I truly enjoy cigars and craft beer but despise nosy people and politics (this mostly includes "office" politics). I hope to retire at 40 and build one-off race cars for the rest of my life.

Dressing a deer before the sun comes up, getting attacked by mosquitos and rushing back to the camp to ice the carcass can be unfun.
Hunting in Alabama, having a boar in your sights and hearing the rattlesnake thats three feet from your foot start to rattled cause your dumb ass got a little too close can be unfun.
But knowing HOW to do it is fun.

About 7 or 8 years ago Bill Demichele took a photo of me at a convention, and I asked him not to publish it, as I had no interest in the tattoo being seen publicly. He said he would not, yet six months later, there it was in print.
Every idiot in America has that tattoo, and it makes me sick.

They're not Paris Hilton or a Kardashian, nobody has a net worth of 15 million dollars, so why are you surprised when a tattooer asks you not to take photos of their shit? Any publicity is not good publicity in an industry that prides itself on not being a bunch of vacuous fucking nincompoops. Also, I find it incredibly insulting when people assume they can take photos of tattooed folks simply because they have tattoos.

Would you go to a dentist that had missing teeth? Would you go buy a car from a sales man that takes the bus? Would you buy a cake from a baker that does not eat sweets. How about a Fat Personal trainer? LOL I am having too much fun with this. All to be said that getting tattooed by an artist with little to no tattoos, makes little to no sense at all. But to each their own.

I don't find this to be true at all. If the customer does everything you tell them to then maybe. I find that almost all customers think that once they leave they know better because their friend told them a better way to heal. I've seen people come in get a tattoo be told all the info and then I see them the very next day with the thickest layer of lotion and a cloth bandage to keep it moist, and all kind of other dumb stuff. I think giving the general public the idea that if their tattoo heals bad it's the tattooers fault is dangerous. I know sometimes it is the tattooers fault but I feel like usually it's the customer not listening to the instructions. I know, when I've had stuff heal shitty, it's been usually my fault.
I think it depends on the area of the tattoo as well. For example, I've only ever seen one elbow ditch tattoo that didn't heal kinda shitty.

I was once detained by PD in whatever county Las Vegas is in. The Deputy had full sleeves.

There is a time and a place for both.

Ha, I suggested it last night and I'm pretty sure she called me out on just wanting to get tattooed. SMART LADY.

It wasn't much but I had a nice experience with Joe Capobianco at Hope Gallery in CT. I was getting tattooed by one of his co workers and it was getting late and Joe was watching a little. He was finished for the day but stuck around and brought me a drink and just kept asking if there was anything I needed or anything he could get me. Just having the great Joe C. hanging around and complimenting the tattoo and bringing me juice, etc. was real cool. I admit I was a little uncomfortable and starstruck but he was so humble and such a cool guy.
Speaking of starstruck I was also getting tattooed by Shane O'Neill while he was doing a guest spot in Mass. and Bob Tyrell was there, also, ending his guest spot. Bob wasn't tattoing but sat and watched Shane (I guess they're good friends) and those two were talking about tattoing, various shops, Kid Rock possibly buying into Bob's place, etc. Having Bob compliment my tattoo and shake my hand and just have a normal, friendly converstion was pretty cool to me. It may not mean much to some people here but for me it was a special experience.

If a fight breaks out in the random picture thread i'm going to be pretty sad.

THIS IS THE RANDOM PHOTO THREAD. We have been posting exactly that. No one should be taking offence to anyone else's photos. Get the fuck over it. It's a random photo you happen to not like. So just don't click the like button and the post a photo you do like to make it all better. There's no point in anyone saying this picture belong and this one doesn't, that makes it the not so random thread of photos that are totally PC and won't offend anyone. Get the fuck over it.
