the only skull I have on me is by Mike Lucena and is below. Gotta say I love skulls by Rudy, Hooper (who has that whole book of skulls), Jondix, Jensen, Garver, the usual suspects.... Both Stewart and Valerie over at Frith St have pretty radical day of the dead skulls on their website. Surely there's people I'm forgetting right now though.

Jensen's stuff seems even stronger to this day . Hooper for me is outstanding . Would also say Jack Rudy but i'll give him a rest and go for Chuey Quintanar also from Tattooland .

I find myself liking tattoos that are bad more than tattoos that are good. Handpoked stuff (Fuk it, Michelles A Bitch), weed leaves, reapers, decks of cards, wolves. Stuff like that. Names. Punkrock stuff. Poorly rendered, badly healed, impulsive physical graffiti. I think it says more about a person that really deeply considered, high end tattoos. I think tattoos have become so good that its refreshing to see someone sporting really shitty homemade stuff. Catches my eye.

How the hell do you not notice that before it's too late? Seriously, sounds like he deserved it.
