    where did the tattooers go?

    funny...i get back on here and i see this and the post speculating about our departure from ctc! ha! one kind of answers the other...it's more a forum for civilians (no offense). i'd like to chime in here and there, but honestly, i'd be more interested in a forum for tattooers only, as i chat with "civilians" all day!

    but i want to try to make an effort again to be on here more because i do think it's a positive!

    Mario for what its worth you were active when I found this site and I have also read I assume every thread and you indirectly helped me start to get it. I have since lasered my crap and only get good tattooers who care about tattooing to tattoo me.

    So I can see why you prefer not to post I for one am really glad you have.

    Here is the latest on my backpiece from @stewartrobson

    Did 5 hours on Saturday and 4 hours on Sunday. Actually tapped out on Sunday, it was a long week of good eating and drinking and it caught up to me. It's 47 hours of total work so far and it will hopefully be completed in October. Pic is from Stewart's IG.

    looks so good and having seen progress in person I know as good as it looks on picture its even more awesome in person. @Stewart Robson just keeps putting on really good big ass tattoos.

    Quick update of more work from Rubendall on my collaboration backpiece. His attention to detail is fantastic and looking at his water makes me sea sick! More to come before I take a break over the summer. Hope to see Henning soon to continue the upper portion of the backpiece. Enjoy the pics folks. FYI, there's some work that's still healing and of course new work. Will have fully healed pics in a couple of months.

    I just got a kick ass anchor tattoo from my "home area code tattooer" Levi Hatch.

    My sister is going through a bad break up. She and I are very close, she asked if I would get "sister tattoos" with her. How could I say no?

    So we got similar, but not identical anchors.

    It was her FIRST tattoo and she went for the ribs and handled it like a champ :-)

    I went for the back of the calf, almost into the ditch.

    I'll post pics when I can. (I know, I ALWAYS say that! This time I will for sure!)

    Once again Levi was fabulous. I'm so glad that my sister had such a good experience for her first tattoo... Now, if she decides to get more she'll know how good it *can* be and hopefully not accept any less.

    Did levi's beard do the tattoo?

    I have my 8th session on my back this weekend with Jill Bonny and during my last session Horitomo told me he was starting to draw up my sleeves. Super excited except for the fact that I am pretty sure this session is going to be color on my lower back and entire ass.

    ahh sleeves arleady, now i will be the only non visible tattoed bro.

    do we ever get to see your back? or other tattoos

    My currently in progress 3/4 sleeve involves 6 hour round trip (Boston to NY) drives once a month for at least the next 3 months. Gas and tolls add to the total investment but its well worth it to get tattooed by Chris O'Donnell.

    also stop by BlackHeart Tattoo San Francisco: Our Shop - Jeff Rassier, Tim Lehi, Scott Silva, Nick Rodin, Cody Miller, Juan Puente and @KatieSellergren its a must. Temple,Blackheart State of grace, you could stay busy just visiting tattoo shops
