Here's another Warped Tour suit. Hahah
I've heard of these but didn't know they actually existed. Horrible.

J is a good friend of mine, I believe I was there when you got it. The first time you posted the rose I noticed the trail tattoo and thought it looked familiar. I didn't mention it before because I figured it was just a 'hiker' tattoo.
As far as Johnny, I just recognize his style of traditional roses. No one in town that I'm aware of has that style :D

what a small world! Who did your tattoo, Johnny?

Santa Barbara. And yes, if you have seen it, that is my web site.and now that I think about it, we may have met before. Did J at Otherworld do your Oregon Trail tattoo?

Posted this over in the May tattoo of the month contest. Just finished a couple weeks ago. I don't have any real crisp pictures of it. I'm stoked to have it finished. Work by Rodney Raines, Ace Custom Tattoo, Charlotte, NC.
that's crazy man, I saw the progress in Instagram. Isn't it a big cover up as well?

welp.. flight & hotel is all booked.. flying from pennsylvania to san francisco september 19th, getting tattooed by stuart cripwell in san rafael and then hanging out in SF for a few days. i've never been to the west coast/on a plane so it will be quite the adventure, to say the least.
why don't you delay your trip until late October so you can attend the SFO tattoo convention?

So all you people out there getting large multi-session tattoos (eg. full back pieces) do you tip every session?
I do but I know others that just break it off big at the end of the tattoo...
-
Here's the beginning of a nice piece. This is my brother-n-law, he received his first tattoo at GoldRush last June. He and I participated in walk-in saturday! He's been hooked ever since. He lives up in Salt Lake City and this tattoo was done by our very own @missStark
Who is that, Chris? Brynne? I didn't know she posted here...
-
@CercleRouge - excellent stuff. Did Hooper do the back of your left arm, too?
looks like Jondix did it...

Which board did you have?
It was a Black Flag Reason For Living board, mint condition, made by Rip City in Santa Monica back in 1983...

DUDE.........I ENVY you so hard right now. how long have you been waiting??? what're you guys doing?!!!! tell MEE! :P
This will be the 4th session on my back. I waited as long as it took to laser the existing tattoo on my back, documented here...
http://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/tattoo-removal-coverup/1663-my-laser-chronicles.html
Between the laser sessions and heal time it was a little more than a year. The only reason I got in so quick is I had a super rare skateboard that he was looking for. Unfortunately it was one of only 3 more boards he's looking to collect. The other 2 are nearly impossible to find, one I don't believe even exists, the other I actually found but the condition of it (pretty nice actually) still wasn't good enough.
