Not sure if I'm "allowed" to post any of my art (since I haven't seen anyone else do this), but figured it might make the introduction message more exciting - and I'm not showing it to get an apprenticeship, since I already have this..
Anyway, here's a few of my newest drawings:

FUCK NO. When I opened up my laptop and setup a facebook account for him, OMG, it was like TV being invented all over again. Just amazing. Before we hooked up, he had contacted me about wanting me to build him a website, which I immediately went and got him domain... But that was just an excuse to talk to me on the phone, he said.... He now knows how to work a MAC, and check his daily cheat sheets when he's needing a break from looking at something else. Oh and reference...
BUT NO... he has no real want to actually geek out online. He does like to shop though. For shop stuff...

Yeah, the only time I don't respond at all is if I know who it is and deliberately don't respond... which there are only two people in the world that would be. And I doubt they have the balls to get tattooed by Richard.

Right now the tattoo I am working on means about a 360 mile drive each way...I did the same drive for the consultation. I have absolutely no regrets about it because it's a tattoo I am super stoked on and get excited to look at by an artist who I greatly admire and who if I could choose anybody to tattoo me, with no financial or travel constraints, I would still get tattooed by. I'd hate to settle for something less and then regret later on that I could have gotten tattooed by people I REALLY wanted to get tattooed by but didn't because it was inconvenient.
I also totally understand feeling a real need to get tattooed--my wife's tattoo artist actually called me a "bitch in heat" once (not to my face though...if she had I would have found it hilarious...and true) because I was climbing up the walls being in a tattoo shop not getting tattooed. But still, tattoos are worth waiting for.

I spend $15 in tolls and $15+ in parking plus a quarter tank of gas every two weeks to get tattooed. Its a small amount compared to the satisfaction I get from looking at my killer tattoos. You dont have to travel the world as some do but don't sell yourself short to get immediate satisfaction.

Oh what the hell, probably crazy to enter a tattoo here given what's already posted, but whatever, I'm not here to make friends:

Done by Seth Wood, Saved Tattoo. Mostly finished October 2011 so the thing is healed a year, but the illustrations in the book are fresh and were done a couple of weeks ago. Apologies for the giant pictures.

I think Scott's tattoo needs to be a little more 'in your face' instead of just an attachment... @Scott R hope you don't mind :D

What is the reason for your apprehension? Are you unhappy with the first tattoo they did? I am certainly not qualified to judge the quality of someones work, but what is on the Facebook page seems to be well done. That being said if you're not comfortable maybe the best thing to do is to find another shop. The last thing I would want would be and apprehension about the work I was having done or the person doing it.

Nope, I've watched every episode. It's like a train wreck. I can't stop watching. That being said I haven't liked a single tattoo on the show. I feel really bad for the "canvases."

I had my first session on my first tattoo with Kore Flatmo this Friday. I went in with a weird combination of being very excited and very nervous at the same time. Needless to say everyone was great and it was a great experience. I have to go back for another session to finish in November.
Even though I'm not done with my first tattoo, I have caught myself thinking through what I would like to do for my other chest panel. I am worried this is going to get expensive. I am blaming all of you for this.
