@majorpenalty Ooof. You can't just drop this in here. You gotta at least give us some time to take a breath! So rad dude.

You can pretty much do whatever you want. There are no rules against that, especially if you are not getting tattooed solely by traditional Wabori artists. Chris O'Donnell told me once that it doesn't matter and that aside from some basic rules, there is plenty of room for interpretation.

Not really the place for this man. Good luck on your endeavors but take a moment to read about what we are about here.

To the OP, I can pretty much guarantee that was a classic eagle design that Bert put on you. I highly doubt he drew that custom for you. He most likely was flipping through some classic flash designs, saw that eagle, and performed that eagle. The other tattoo was done by someone probably looking at the exact same design.

This is embarrassing, but I don't really know how to find music since my favorite record store in Boston closed...I think 2/3 of what I own came from there.
This probably makes me a mongo, but is Newbury Comics still around? I always loved going to the one downtown.

So very good!

i'm not going to clutter up the board by making a thread for it but.. today i made my first tattoo
Perfect thing to clutter the "latest tattoo lowdown thread" with. Good job dude. As someone who did his first, what, just 7 months ago, I'd say you're on the right track.

Done by Jovic at Eternal Ink in Sunbury, Melbourne, Australia.
That looks very nice. You should check out Rob Mopar (and the crew) at Lucky 13 as well. He's a rad individual.

False Cathedrals? Cause that's my jam.

If you need to "refresh" a tattoo six months to a year after the tattoo is finished, you got a crappy tattoo.
I know a dude who covered a Nikko Hurtado tattoo with a panther. My friend makes good decisions.

I did a couple shitty stick and poke tattoos on myself when I was a dumb young punk rock teenager (all have since been covered). But I was 19 (the year 2001), walked into the shop in the town where I went to university, and gave a print out of the Rocket From The Crypt logo to this really nice fellow named Andrew Conner and he did it on the inside of my arm. I got a couple more tattoos from other folks, but then, four years later, I was reintroduced to this Andrew Conner fellow, and we became friends. He tattooed me a lot out of his private studio, and then he moved back to that same shop where I got my first tattoo. He opened my eyes to what good tattooing is, taught me how to paint using liquid acrylic/watercolor, taught me how to use an ink nib, and has become one of my biggest inspirations. My first good tattooer changed my life and is the reason I am even making tattoos now. He isn't my "teacher" but he has taught me so much and supports every step I take.

The Electric Wizard album is good. It's solid, but there is something abrasive about it, that doesn't appeal to me the same way that Black Masses, Dopethrone, etc did. Like. the fuzz sounds like a chainsaw, but lacks some of the heaviness I love about them.

I spend all my money on tattoos, got none left over for music.
Dude, you ain't kidding!

@gougetheeyes I totally dig the Iron Chic record!
That spirit of the truth sample on track 4 kills me.
