I realized that besides for instagram photos in the Latest Tattoo Lowdown-thread, I haven't uploaded any proper hi-res healed pictures of any one the tattoos I've gotten since I first registered here 3 years ago. Edit: Oh wow, long post. Thought they were thin enough to go side by side in pairs. Well.. enjoy

OK, I'll play. These show most of my legs. I won't bore you with the sides of my knees or ankles. And I'm too lazy to type out who did what, but I'm happy to answer any questions.

better option than "Hello friend/stranger/significant other, do you mind taking some photos of me without pants on so I can share them with my internet pals?"

A bunch of people on here have probably seen this all ready but here is what Rudy Fritsch and Iain Mullen did to my back today, took approximatively 2 hours all in all
I have a new found respect for people with back tattoos as of this session. Shit is brutal!
Only a small portion of it felt all right. I had to struggle really hard at times. I was trying to surf the balance between consciously being there with the agony and discomfort and zoning out and into my head as much as possible. Divine moments of pain, that's what I kept thinking, while also trying to breath slow and stable.
Getting tattooed by two tattooers working simultaneously is a good idea though. It's only about 1,568 as painful as getting hit with only one machine but it's about twice as quick! Most of the time the machine working at the most tender spot would be my focus and the other one was mostly irritating. You do get some crazy synergies and some combination of spots gives you new concepts of what pain can feel like. Recommended! Also very happy with the result so far, of course, hardly any need to say that right? Very rememberable afternoon at Imperial Tattoo in Stockholm

It's how we used to kill panthers and gorillas.. before the internet RUINED TATTOOING.

Because the easiest way to make a tattoo tougher is to put a dagger in it!

Aussie Tom reacted to tatB in Traditional Designs: Stabbed Animals
it is a sexual thing. the dagger symbolizes a penis.
i have a dagger stabbing through a skull and eagle because i love skulls and i fuckin love america.

Just because you got something stabbing through your head doesn't mean that you're having a bad time

So if I understand your story...
You approached the guy with your tattoo idea. He said, "Yeah, cool." You didn't leave a deposit. You didn't make an appointment.
You went to the shop and he traced your arm, showing he had every intention to do your tattoo. You didn't leave a deposit. You didn't make an appointment.
He posted on Facebook that he had an opening and you wrote back. Maybe you were the first; maybe you were the hundredth. A lot of tattooers who post on FB and IG still want you to make appointments via email, phone, or in person. And when in fact you did email, lo and behold you got one.
Too bad he had to reschedule. It happens. Maybe he had an out-of-town client who couldn't rebook, who knows? In any event, he offered you another slot, twenty-four hours later, after regular shop hours, meaning he went out of his way to accommodate you.
Get a tattoo from the guy or don't. Some artists are worth waiting for. I haven't been getting tattooed for twenty years, but I do understand it's a unique business -- not like buying a T-shirt at the mall.

I believe they mostly are referring to the bogarting of their own photos, which in turn get reblogged and spread to every Tumblr without proper credit given to them.

Bert posts a wolf tat every other week or so. I'm not putting up something that has a secret trick or anything like that.

Hey guys, I'm going to be in London June/July. Other than FST, can anyone recommend any other tattoo shops I should check out? Preferably traditional styles. Also, they don't necessarily have to be in London, surrounding areas work too. Thanks!!

Aussie Tom reacted to irezumi in tattoo tux
This is an old photo of a Bali mask he did on my friend John, he has extensive work from Tux as well.
This is the flyer he gave me when we met; I looked really puzzled at 1991 when it was still October or November 1990 but I realized that he was printing them for the upcoming year.
Or he was time traveling.

Early/mid 90s. I have plenty more than that from him but no internet photos, sorry.
