It's an interesting idea. You might consider a different font and larger letters. It doesn't read well from a distance. A logo doesn't necessarily have to include the name of the business, unless they want it to be there. A sign would be something different - could be the logo followed by the name on the side. Have fun with it.

Wouldn't it be in the tattooer's best interest to use high-quality, non-dangerous pigments? Seems like a bunch of clients with skin issues or long term health problems isn't so great for business or your reputation...
One more reason to go to a professional.

Hello everyone.
My name is Rok and i'm a tattoo machine designer.
For the last few months we have been developing the lightest tattoo machine called LACEnano, that has lowest vibration and is fully autoclavable.
Any question opinion is welcome.

Everyone freaks out about the healing of their first tattoo. The dripping is just plasma from the tattooed area that is carrying excess ink away. After that it will dry out and you'll notice a softening of the tattoo colors.

Under saran wrap you get puss, sweat, etc... No worries!
Odd that he said don't use soap, but eh, I'm sure it's fine. If the black ink were dripping, it would be black running down your leg and not wound colored.

What @DevilMan said. It's perfectly normal for tattoos to hurt for a few days afterward (and feel like a sunburn for about a week).

Looks normal to me, just regular wound fluids. I normally put on saran wrap for the first night and the wrap is usually pretty soaked in the morning.
Don't worry, just give it a wash a couple of times a day and leave it alone as much as possible, you'll be fine :)

Exactly. TheDude, who are these "wrong girls"? I don't actually want to read the answer because there are no wrong girls. Most of the people on this forum are respectful toward women (and some of us even are women). Is that too PC for you?

Okay, this is just a first pass - nothing is done except maybe the sea snake but there are no highlights or shadows for him yet either. On the right, hidden are two unfinished clownfish in an anemone. He'll keep laying things out to get the whole design before he goes back to finish each part completely. Next up will be some fish and coral on the right, and in the middle will be the deep blue with some shadowed critters in the distance. Kinda frustrating that nothing will be finished until everything is finished at the last minute!
FYI - This is a sea scene made from a number of pictures I've taken while diving. The sea snake I chased all over the bottom trying to get a close-up of him, only later to find out how poisonous he is! Oops! And I just love my eels!

Just wanted to give you guys a heads up about a new book we are working on. Lost Love is a collection of vintage tattoo flash presented in a 200 page 9×12 hardcover format. This book represents a handful of private collections and is full of never before published sheets of antique flash along with acetates, sketches, and photos. The images in this unique collection were selected to embody the rich and diverse history of tattooing. Our goal was to show everything from folky to fancy. This book will contain unsigned flash sheets as well as images from Cap Coleman, Paul Rogers, Sailor Jerry, Stoney St Clair, Percy Waters, Milton Zeis, and many more. The first 200 Lost Love pre orders will receive a limited print of vintage flash with their book and it will be shipped in hand silk-screened packaging. Pre orders have already started and the book is expected in early Feb. can be purchased at Yellow Beak Press
Here is a small video teaser for the book.

My general rule of thumb is this:
Tattoos change a bunch from the second you get it till about a month or so later when they "settle" so don't rush to judgements right away. When in doubt go to the person who put it on you, they will know best.
Also, please post in the correct section of the forum.

I'd say that this shop is busy and not hungry for work. Some shops throw prices at people and see if they'll bite. Some do, some don't.
Your best bet is getting a recommendation to a good shop/artist. I feel you need some rapport/dialogue going with the artist before having any work done. Showing them what you want is also big, being vague or ambiguous isn't cool. Asking them flat out for the cost of a sleeve could piss them off as well.
Most shops will give you their hourly rate, which may be $150-200 for the initial hour and usually a bit less for each hour after that. I get a flat hourly rate with my artist, I figure about how many hours I need to get something done and save up for it. If I figure I need $600, I'll save up $800 before going in for the appointment(s).

If you think that $100 an hour for a good artist is too much, think how much it will cost to cover up a cheap artist's work!
Seriously though, this will be on you for the rest of your life; if your primary concern is cost, then you should re-think getting a tattoo.
