I sat with Mathew Clarke on Saturday for him to finish the last Lotus of my sleeve (he also added some leaves to the inside of my bicep). The piece is supposed to be done now but my tattoo critics (wife and daughters) think I need another koi on the inside/underside of my arm (from the bottom of the lotus to my arm pit) swimming under the leaves. What do you all think...I'm inclined to go with them- hell what do I know

Here are some photos of our Old English Sheepdogs Zeke and Ziva. My wife and I rescued them a few years ago. We had 2 others (also rescued) that died so these came to us at a good time...God works in mysterious and wonderful ways.
(The photos on the right are Bo and Sara respectively RIP. Bo died at our feet of a massive heart attack and we had to put Sara down after her intestines flipped and she bloated up. Poor girl was 14, deaf and incontinent - so we probably waited too long. They can't speak after all and because they love us unconditionally we really need to pay closer attention. It really wasn't fair to put her through all that pain.)

My whole backpiece has been done in a 6-month period (just 31 hours in total) by Bonel from Corazon Santo, Arnhem, The Netherlands.

Here are some photos from my sittings at Midnight Moon. I just sat for the 3rd time last Tuesday. Mat and I decided to increase the size of the sleeve to 3/4 to add more water and large lotus flower. The lotus flowers represent my three daughters, my wife, and the final one, my mother.

Well it's not peeling anymore, but the skin still being raised? This is my first tattoo ever so I have no idea what the after effects usually are. But if you run your finger over it, you can still feel some of the lines a bit. Does that mean it needs to continue healing or am I good to go now? (And here's a fee pics of the outline so you can see what it's gonna look like)

Not as nice as those Triumphs, but I've had this '96 KZ1000 CHP bike for about 2 years now. Was my daily rider for a minute after my wife and I moved, blah blah, long story. Didn't matter that I'd always ride in my mad-max style beat-to-shit leather that I've abused for the past 10+yrs or a beat-to-shit bike, I'd still get a wide berth on the highway.
Now that I've got another bike that's more reliable for daily use and without a billion miles racked up, I've been toying with turning the KZ into a project bike. Just getting a little wild, y'know? But I've got equal parts motivation and equal parts "fuck it, I'm selling it"...
...Pretty sure that means I should get some sort of massive animal-battle tattoo to represent my inner conflict, ha!
