Wanted to get one more tattoo before the year ended :) Happy New Year, everyone!

Gingerninja and myself answered that already, it's too late now to worry about aftercare for that cross on your finger,nothing will help it,it's already mostly healed. the best advice is to go to a professional shop next time.

As 2017 is ending soon I'll post a final pic of the progress we made on my dragon backpiece this year. First session was march 31st, 7 sessions overall with about 22 to 25h so far. Probably won't be able to keep that pace up in 2018, but let's see how it will turn out... Best wishes and happy new year to everyone

Went to my favorite shop tonight to follow up on a previous session and plan my next session with my Artist. The greatest compliment I can offer is referrals. One of my friends wanted a very specific tattoo of a design developed by another lady to cover brands of those who had been in human trafficking. A world most of us will ,hopefully , never understand.... OMG. The response from my artist and shop owner were incredible. The shop owner wanted to meet the lady. He offered free ink to anyone who had brands and wanted to cover marks that caused that caused pain in a former life. My Artist wanted to study the design and make sure they got it perfect. This is a side of the industry most non ink people will never see or understand. My next appointment is December 8th. I am going to cater in a couple Sweet Potato pies and double my artist tip. Life is good! Never underestimate your power to do good and help others! Meanwhile I signed up for five more hours on the next chapter of the dragon half sleeve.

I don't want to sound like a dick, but this is why you go to a real, reputable tattoo shop...

you don't want to avoid peeling or pick at it, most tattoos will 'fall out" on the sides of fingers like that, especially scratcher garage tattoos like that. and like was said,peeling is a normal and good part of tattoo healing.Let it peel.

This is going to sound harsh... So, tattoo's peel - that's part of the healing process. And never, ever, ever pick at a tattoo. You most likely pulled out the ink. Did you get any aftercare instructions? Follow them.
