Old Soul in Canonsburg, PA (south of Pittsburgh) has a cool tattoo weekend every year in conjunction with their local Oktoberfest. Old Soul is a cool shop that has an *amazing* flash collection. The wall are covered floor to ceiling with bad ass flash from across the years, styles and rad artists. This years event has 40+ artists coming in for the weekend. Hubby and I are heading down tomorrow to check it out. If any of you are in the area, let's meet up!

As Fall approaches, I'll be breaking out the slow cooker more often. It's so easy.

I'm sure that this is barbeque sacrilege but I did baby back ribs in the slow cooker the other day. I made a spice rub, baked them for a bit before tossing them in the cooker then finished them under the broiler. Stupid easy and seriously yummy.

I don't get scars or blisters but I do get mild irritation in at least one edge. It goes away after a day or two. Then again, I get contact dermatitis from damn near everything! I usually get a rash from wherever the artists hands rub or lay on an area during a session.

I'm pretty allergic but don't get the abscesses/ulcers only giant, itchy red spots. Last night, I broke down and put some hydrocortisone on the area. Had too. I don't trust myself when I sleep not to scratch the hell out of them. I'll be fine but had to rant. :) @Paulus @Devious6 

Apparently, mosquitos like freshly healing tattoos. 30 minutes outside and boom, I have six bites IN my new tattoo. I'm just a little more than annoyed.

Whoa....so glad that you are okay. Thank goodness you were wearing all of your gear - especially your helmet! Sorry about the bike. That sucks. Hope that you are feeling better by the time that you read this message! @pidjones

It's totally addicting! My wrist tattoo didn't hurt at all yet I've talked to more than one person (as recently as last night) that said it was their most painful spot. Welcome to the wonderful world of tattooing! Next, we'll be talking about your healing experience which is massively variable, too. :) Get what you want. You'll figure it out.

(PS - I'm lasering my wrist tattoo, which was my first, so I can get it covered up with something awesome.)

OMG, I have one spot that is so itchy. I can't stand it. One little spot. Someone tie my hands together so I don't scratch it. Considering I had a good amount of real estate tattooed recently, I'm blessed but this one spot is making me mental.
