Even though it's bloody and as fresh as can be, this picture will probably do the tattoo more justice than my crappy iPhone camera.

@Johnny, you are in Florida, right? Mike Wilson is in Florida. There's a good chance that your some of your favourite tattooers get tattooed by him.
One of my customers just got a tattoo from him while visiting Florida. I got a tattoo from him a few years ago, much to the annoyance of the other guys I work with.
Mike works at Inksmith & Rogers in Jacksonville.
But the bigger question is: Why do you care so much what internet tattoo snobs think about the tattoo you get?
Just get a tattoo from someone who's work you like.
We all have tattoos we love that other people don't think so much of. Having a tattoo is way more important than wishing for the perfect design from the perfect person.

My Scott Sylvia piece is as good as healed now, so I thought I'd start by sharing that one. The rest will be posted here as soon as they are healed and I get decent pictures. All I have to take photos with is my iPhone, so please excuse the mediocre quality.

That is a great shop to go work at. Congratulations on being asked to work there. That is a real and deserved compliment.

I have met Mike a couple of times, and he was always really cool. About eight years ago I went to him about doing a religious black and grey sleeve based on an old art print that he had done a couple of years before. He told me that he wasn't doing that stuff anymore, and was focusing on Japanese style work. He was very cool about it, and he ended up tattooing a good friend of mine, but not me. In the Inked interview that he recently did he talked about having some clients that he has started doing that style of work on, and that he is glad to be doing it again. I suppose timing is everything. I also met Frank Romano at the Seattle convention a couple of years ago, and he is a wild dude. Very very funny, and he had some great stories.

I wear lightweight western shirts in the summer. They are keep me cool and keep the sun of off my tattoos. Since the shirts are so lightweight some sun still comes through them, but a little sunscreen underneath and you are good to go.

Hi got the most amazing pirate girl on Friday by @Stewart Robson im rubbish at pictures but shes on his blog. Frith street is an amazing shop it has great artists and a wonderful atmosphere, very friendly as well.

Its something Scott Harrison would rather be doing to stretch marks.

Yesterday I drove up to see Erik Von Bartholomaus. I cannot recommend getting tattooed by him enough, I had an awesome time, some adventure, and a ton of great stories (esp about the tarot deck and Dan H.) and amazing art all over the place- it was a great way to spend the day
