So I have been away for over a week on vacation, no internet. Logged on today, saw that there was a bunch of posts in this thread, and started to catch up. Got halfway through @mmikaoj 's post and decided to leave it until tonight after my son's soccer practice.
While there I was talking to my buddy's wife, who apparently hasn't seen me in shorts since December. So I proceeded to answer just about every single question on here - pain, cost, meaning, where, why, etc., etc.
Started out like this:
Her- "Whoa, when did you get that?!?
Me - "December"
Her- "What's the meaning??"
Me - "It means I have an awesome panther on my leg. With a sword. And some roses."
Her - "Oh, three roses! For your wife and two kids.
Me - "Uh....OK"
I felt like the conversation was happening because of this thread.

Yes, you could probably get in the door for the top of your range.
A little more money now is nothing compared to a lifetime of a tattoo you dislike or have to rework. This is going to be a very visible tattoo.

Got this one yesterday from Jan Willem (@janwillemtattoo) at Bont en Blauw tattoo Rotterdam. Asked for a octopus filler and this is what he drew up. immediately said yes to his idea and this is the end result.
Edit: all other work except the partially visible black skull is done by Jan Willem as well

This one was done by Mario Desa when he was still at Chicago Tattoo Co., back in 2011-12. The photo is a couple of years old, but the tattoo was a few years healed at that point.

Got back from the shop a while ago, came back with two new pieces. First and foremost, something I've always wanted, an American traditional panther! I love the way it turned out. And while I was there I got this cool little smoking tophat-skull to go with my cowboy skull on the opposite shoulder.

Picked up this fun little cowgirl from Leo Darlin (Hidden Rose Tattoo in Portland) at the Pacific Northwest Tattoo Expo here in Oregon.  Sorry about the picture, cellphone camera didn't focus too well.

Finally finished the collab with Shige and Gogue last night. Did the lower burgundy chrysanthemum and my nipple, along with a few small touch ups.

The only thing that upsets me about this is that the restaurant apologized. Their place, their rules.

My wife and I got "matching" heart tattoos from Aaron Is (during a guest spot at Precisely Veiled Tattoo in Killeen, TX). 

Finally ! I have a reason to post haha ! So stoked about this ! I mean........SO stoked ! Bandage and endorphins still on lol  And the freakin' pics will likely be side ways ;)
