Got this little Clockwork Orange Hot Stuff yesterday. I’ve admired the flash sheet for ages, and I wanted another tattoo. So I got him. 

Too early to tell, nothing to do about it, tattoos aren't perfect etc.

Just finished the Bert Krak ep - I agree that the old (longer) format was cool, but they sure pack those 22 minutes full of great stuff.  Much like after finishing the Mary Joy episode, now I really really want a Bert Krak tattoo!

Day 2 down, both lower legs colored. Next trip we color the upper legs finishing up the full backpiece and then it's on to the front.

I really don't like watercolor tattoos, but that looks fine to me!  I once heard Cheyenne Sawyer say that instead of getting a coverup you should get better tattoos around the tattoo in question so they could talk to each other.  So, if you're into it, just get more tattoos on that arm!

Brain tumor follow-up yesterday. The net is that it’s bigger which could either mean the radiation is working (yea) or that it’s still growing (boo). I’m doing the PMA thing and going with the radiation is working. The concern is around my facial nerve and balance issues. I’m already walking like a drunk sometimes but the facial paralysis shit freaks me out.
The funny part of today went like this:
Dr. Neurosurgeon: How’s your hearing in your left ear?
Me: It’s shot.
Dr. Neurosurgeon: How’s your balance?
Me: F*cked.
Dr. Neurosurgeon smiles at me, looks at my leg and says: Is that a ray gun tattoo?
Me: Yes, Dr. it is indeed a ray gun to commemorate my radiation.
Dr. Neurosurgeon: That is the most brilliant thing I’ve ever seen.
(Note: the barrel isn't crooked...straight lines on curvy body parts, ya know)

Got this little Keith Haring fella today from an artist named Erik at a shop near me. He was the victim of a hate crime, and I wanted to support his return to work (His wrist was badly injured, and he couldn't work for over a month.) It's tiny. I like him.

If I may... It's really not about the blowout.  It's about changing cultural norms and how lots of people these days are rushing into tattoos in highly visible places before really committing to being a 'tattooed person' (ie arm sleeves, more larger pieces).  Every artist and every client will have different views on this, but I have to say I agree with the old school mentality - certain tattoo placements are 'earned' in that sense.

Horitomo. Two sessions, all electric (rotary and coil).  Photos do not do this justice! I will say that first four hours of outlining and shading was super hateful. Of course, I am already considering having him do my left shin. What is wrong with me? 😜

He sure knows how to make a nice girl head... Congrats @Gingerninja !!
