Thank you for your replies!  I have decided to go for skulls and roses, phoned the tattoo studio and they were pretty fine about me changing it. I'll attach a picture of what I'm thinking (it's based on the three wise monkeys I am no artist so excuse the bad art!) and I'm thinking of getting grey and black roses in the background to link it all together as one piece (like the other attachment) I already have roses up one side of me and they are only pink and green so this would also tie in better. 
If anyone has any ideas on any improvements I'm all ears!

Gian should have won of the final two. Sorry, but a big fat NO to Ryan. I liked Kelly most of the time, and I think she is very talented, but the whole women's alliance was deeply stupid. You are either good or you aren't. Woman schmoman. And I say this as a woman. Naw. Just tattoo and stop talking about your gender.

Also, go to Kelly's instragram. Her chest piece would have won. It's not perfect but it was good. In general I found her to be the most likable contestant. Although Gian was probably the best overall tattooist and plenty likable.

This was the first season I've watched so I don't have the perspective that others do. I'm also biased because Ryan is a local artist so I was happy to see her win for that reason. It did seem to me that the finale process was flawed in bringing three artists having had them all do major pieces, only to eliminate one of them based on the live work they did that day.
Still, I enjoyed the season since, as a newcomer to tattooing, it gave me a chance to learn a lot about the craft by listening to the judging process.
Oh, so I guess you don't want to see a picture of my personalized/signed coaster that Ryan did for me? 

Hey everyone!
My name is Emily.  I'm 26 years old, originally from Michigan, currently living in Florida.  After a solid year of researching and reflecting, I finally got my first tattoo three weeks ago!  You can imagine I sifted through a lot of shit information on tattoos and tattooing during that time, so I'm happy to have landed here at last.  I've been lurking for the past few weeks and the trove of solid advice I've found here has done wonders for easing my numerous healing process anxieties.  I'm also excited to have found a community of tattoo enthusiasts since my husband and most of my friends are completely uninterested in tattoo culture.  I'm looking forward to joining the community, continuing to learn about the craft, and continuing to collect tattoos.

I'm a pharmacist currently pursuing advanced training in toxicology, so all of the plants in the tattoo are toxic.

Another addition to my tattoo leg quilt ...

Today I almost put children's toothpaste on my new tattoo instead of Aquaphor. Almost. The tubes were next to each other on the counter. 

Today was a pretty good day thanks to Kurt Melancon at Leviticus in Minneapolis.

Take a marker and draw a circle most anywhere on your body, there will be movements that distort it. The record looks fine. I have some old vinyl that was stored improperly, and I WISH it was as round as your tattoo!

Hello everyone!  I've lurked here a bit & decided to sign up & post a quick hello.  I've gotten a few tattoos recently after not getting any for a few years, and I've definitely caught the bug big time.  My most recent piece is this Kappa head by Zach Black @ Riverwest Tattoo.  I'm really happy with it & thinking about seeing if he can expand on it & turn it into a half sleeve.
