Just wanna say thanks to everyone who contributes to these boards, with your advice and discussions, definitely made me more critical (in a good way I think) and steered me towards great artists such as Stefan and Steve.

That Justin guy with one of the knock off back pieces has now deleted all IG photos of it. Remorse/understanding perhaps?

I think the majority of responsibility lies with the artists, I'm not absolving clients who say I want exactly this tattoo, but I suspect most of them think what they are getting is more original than it is. Instagram needs a #shouldhavegonetoshige hashtag.

That's on Austin Maples of Idle Hands Tattoo. He showed it to me when I met him last year. It is super insane in person.
He worked with me when it was in progress and already looking great, awesome to see it finished. Matthew Gordon is on my wish list.

Chapel Tattoo
Third Eye
Dynamic Tattoo (Trevor McStay's shop)

All are great but pretty busy, sometimes they advertise time for walkins on their instagram/facebook.
or track down Fergus Simms (currently at No Regrets in Chelsea)
The Expo in sydney will be great also.

Great to see something like this working out, it's already been fully funded but you can still get some great little bonus's by supporting.
"Ornamental Archive" by Russ Abbott — Kickstarter
Would love to see more projects like this.

I had the back of one thigh done a little less than a week ago, it has stayed "sunburn/punched repeatedly" sore longer than the fronts, but nothing crazy. Sitting has been fine, getting into and out of the car has been the most annoying movement. Shorts have also been my healing attire of choice because of the weather here. The hardest part was straining my neck from lying badly on my front for 4 hours.

I feel the same way after this weekend. I can't wait to post my wolf head. This thing is mean! And weird!
Is it the one on his Instagram that looks a bit like it is dripping? (cant think of another way to describe it) Looks awesome!

Ha ha, yeah I'm not looking for spoilers, who knows what will still be there or what will be new in 5 months time.

I'm starting a backpiece by Chris today and I'm definitely going to see if I can take a look at that book today.
I look forward to hearing about it! :D

Yeah, I emailed him as a shot in the dark, wasn't sure he would even reply let alone have time to fit me in with my own narrow travel window. Looking through the book alone would be worth the deposit!

I'm currently road tripping across America with my girlfriend, it'll be about 10 weeks in total, coast to coast, seen some amazing things so far and we've only made it to New Orleans. Still got to head north, she's from Wisconsin so it'll be a family 4th of July. Then back down the east coast. It's quite a country you've got here!
