the so called "worlds worst tattoo" fixed

Recommended Posts

It's infinitely better than it was but the hairline is wrong and now that's all I can see when I look at it. It slopes down across her face but it should be more of a square-ish shape. That area was clear in the original so it's not like the coverup artist had to cover anything with it.

Not the best portrait in the world though I suppose he had to work with what was already there.

Yea the hairline is a little off. But damn, overall just amazing work. I'm just glad he got that garbage covered. Must have been devastating for the poor guy...

In all fairness, dude probably isn't in to tattoos just wanted that one for his wife. It's not like he was going to cover it with a dragon or a panther. Even considering that the tattoo couldn't get any worse, I think the outcome was pretty good for the guy. To paraphrase Joe Dirt, It's not about you, it's about the consumer.

I saw portraits that were much worse than this in artist's portfolios at the Musink convention, it was shocking:eek:

I can think of maybe 2-3 artists I'd trust with a portrait. Even ones from otherwise good artists that I've seen.. eh.. not so good as I'd have hoped to see.

Just goes to show how difficult portraits are to do, your right even well respected artists have hits and misses. I only trust 1 artist for that kind of work.

    • Hello TLST! I'm Fabrizio, 21yrs old. I live in Italy and it's a pleasure to be part of this forum. I've just subscribed here but I read many topics before getting my first tattoo. Now it passed a week since I've done my forearm tattoo and It is healing properly (I guess LMAO).  I will get more tattoo in the future, for sure I will continue my arm.  Here it is my tattoo. This was like 3 days after, now it is peeling and it is ugly to see 😌 Lately I will post how the tattoo is after this week :) Thank you for any further help/advice. It's a pleasure to be a member here :)
    • Welcome to the internet!
    • Lol my tattoos are the best quality you can get and I even I pick holes in them it’s just adapting I guess it’s been 3 weeks since I got my forearm sleeve and gradually I’m improving it’s just very striking but if you don’t like a tattoo I wouldn’t look at it until you are able to fix it. It’s why I will only ever get black and grey tattoos because there fixable with lasering in the future for new art work. But I can tell you your not on your own mate I’m experiencing similar things to you. Some people on here seem to not care and try to make things 100x worse but at the end of the day you will get people who have experienced it and will guide you through it.
